Bad thing, paints will chip off easily then. That's why it is yet unknown to modellers.

Hmm interesting... I've got plenty of examples of metal swords that have bent and the paint flaking off that area but not with plastic ones. (EG plastic bloodletter swords are fine to bend without losing paint.

Perhaps it has something to do with the porousness of the surface rather than the bending of the material or maybe even the thickness of the paint?

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

No, actually I was just plain wrong. I thought that there was supposed to be some sort of video on Wednesday, but I must have been thinking of some other release.

No, that you could bend it, drop it and it would still look good.

If they took the time to model such good models, they wouldn't use a cheap medium and then say that it will cost more than average. I expect them to work quite well for painting.

It appears to be either a Condor and three Sabres, a Neptune and two Ares, a Marauder and three Hunters, or an Eden and three Tomahawks.

As you have access to miniatures please do us a favour and perform a small experiment.

Take a miniature you haven't finished painting, basecoat plus rough single coat, and bend it a couple of times, show us what happens.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I diont know it came on sprues, yes perfect. I would have said sprue if I knew.

in which case bend it a little like a miniature might be, then go to town on it and test to destruction, incrementing how badly you mistreat it and observing results at each stage. That of itself doesn't indicate failure when it happens, we expect it to be wrecked at some point, but if you have to give up without any serious damage I will be VERY impressed.

A short video could be good if thats no problem. Though if the product is that good talk to Dave and get him to try to snap one of his painted tanks on a Beasts of War podcast, it would be excellent copy if the tank stands up to much.

I've decided on a paint scheme for my UCM. I am going to attempt something similar to the Seraphim at 3:35 in the OP video.

Now Twitter says "early this evening". If that's UK time, I'm guessing 4-6 hours.
