Is Nicco's last name McBrain? And if so, will the bass player be named Steve or Harris?

Iron Maiden jokes aside, those are some great sculpts and you are an inspiration to us all.

100% it’s Nicco McBrain. This is how I do musical education for the next generation.
It’s actually meant to be a small dog with a regular sized guitar, so not intended to be a bass. I was going for a Chihuahua the total cheeseball metal Gibson Explorer just giving massive small dog energy, I’m not really a guitarist, I was a drummer first and played some bass so I’m all about the rhythm sections of most bands, and I was the front man of my band back in the day so the guitar side of things i tend to side-eye a bit. the glory-hog guitar-god types… It’s just never been my focus and I probably should appreciate them more, though many of my favourite guitarists are also the front man. I mean, it’s not like I have no appreciation for Jonny Greenwood or Stef Carpenter or even the Dave Murray & Yanick Gers classic metallers, it’s just not really where my head’s at when I’m listening.
But then (like myself) I’ve given this singing pup the solo mic approach with no other instrument, he’s Chino Moreno, Zach De la Rocha, yes, he’s Bruce Dickinson. (Though my son wants to call Rick Astly!) The guitar guy is just all solo and no substance.
A bass player pup would maybe be a tall lanky Krist Novesellic with a thunderbird hanging round his knees or maybe a tribute to the many great female bassist of the 90s, Melissa Auf Der Mar in a massive black ball gown from the Pumpkins “Stand inside your love” video.

The only other band member to do is a saxophone pup. He’s giving me Tom Waits Rain Dogs vibes, he’s just whistlin’ past the graveyard in a fedora. Looking forward to showing him off soon.

I should paint up a 1:300 scale Boeing 757 as Ed Force One for my tiny aircraft gallery.

Well he’s not perfect but my crummy photography is doing a good job of hiding some of it.

Thanks guys.

Long overdue an update over here. As it’s been ages since these guys were painted.

Seriously ages. So what else has been going on. Flipping loads of stuff!

I’ll maybe have a look back at the records and see what else I’ve missed. Hang in there for more soon.

Ok so first off. We enjoyed the classic wizzard style dwarf so much that making a skeleton version seemed like a good idea.

So this is The Wizzard RattleGhast

And we liked him so much we decided to make a Necromancer duelling game called Bare Bones!

We’ve played it a couple of times a couple of different ways but the trick is not having too many skeletons in the same place and not having the wizards just ignore the skeletons and kill each other too quickly. Needs more play-testing and refinement.

Does he do D4 damage with the ill behaviour great looking band and skeleton wizard. The game looks like it’d be good fun, especially the herding cats mission
