That board looks fantastic, well done! I've been wanting to create a proper KT board for a while and thinking of making a rail depot, this has given me some good ideas!

Thanks both of you. I can only imagine what battle reports might lie ahead. We have a Tonks Final to play before that though.
In the meantime, sculpting for the kids continues apace with some questionable putty choices here.

Thanks GT. yeah I did, unfortunately I was using a blob of spare milliput I had mixed for another job and had some leftover. I really should have just used some greenstuff. Milliput just isn’t that great for this kind of detailed work, even the superfine white kind, even with a bit of greenstuff mixed in. It was ok and I got a workable face sculpted but it could have been easier. The ear didn’t stick very well at all and I then tried to glue it in with some brown stuff… questionable choices. I just hope he paints up well.

And the sculpting continues with another mole almost done and a (hopefully smaller than last time) wire frame goblin rider.
And then there’s the dwarf, who started life as an EM4 dwarf crossbow guy, donated by our own gobert and well let’s say he’s seen some changes, most notably a head swap (courtesy of some big snips which removed most of his shoulder and front torso and both arms. ) and the addition of a blunderbus. But best of all, as you can see from this angle his left arm has come out absolutey laughably long! So he’s getting called Bobby the Bus, he’s the long arm of the law. Or Loki Longarm, or Langren Lefty or something. You gotta lean into your mistakes in this game.

Thanks Retro. Yeah there’s some really nice characters in the reaper collection and I had my eye on them dm for a while before this project ever got underway. I’m looking forward to painting them up too.
Thanks gobert. I’ve had that dwarf head in my bits box for donkeys now and was glad to have a suitable dolly to put it on. He’s come out a fair wee character too. Thanks for the donation.
Been a busy week but project planning has been on the go and now we’re back from holidays I’m getting stuck in once again. This time it’s Minecart upgrades.
These two are our newest models an armoured flame-cart in the back there and a winged amphibious Minecart with a reinforced ram up front.
All upgrades are just hung in the side so in theory you can buy and build whatever you want to go for.
Still on the drawing board we’re looking at rocket assisted take off, ejector seats and an Organ gun turret! This game just got even wilder.

Keep them coming you say!
Ok then, BEHOLd!
The Rocket boosted, organ-gun turret toting, Hunter-killer missile cart.
And if you need some off-the-rails assistance the Organ Gun turret can be mounted on the cart behind the Pit-Pony!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also… does anyone remember way back on the bottom of page 18 I was making a roller skating Ork Deffdread? No well nevermind, here’s the finished product anyway.
I’ve obviously got far too many projects on the go. Anyone still awaiting the Tonks final write-up, I can only apologise.

The continued work on the mine men is brilliant, theCrowe. Love the variety of carts at the moment and super impressed by the sculpting on display for the gobbos! Super flavourful little crew and looks like a blast to make/play with!
You nailed the skater pose on that dread

Ok, back to the mines! I’ve been busy painting up the accessories. (And a couple more dwarfs)
So here we have some armour plates/and gobo shields, a rocket booster, some wings, a floatation system, a boarding plank, a flame thrower, a hunter-killer missile, a reinforced ram, a slingshot, an Organ gun turret and an ejector seat.
I also managed to paint up the Pit Pony for turret-toting.
Then here are some pimped minecarts.

That is a cool assortment of gubbins!
The pit pony came out ver ynice- the coat colors are similar to one of our little mares.
Love the boarding plank! From the photo angle, it even looks like it has the corvus (raven's beak) like the Romans used to make sur ethe boarding ramp stayed stuck to whomever they were boarding at the moment- well done!
Rock on!

Superb work on the various carts! The customisation is amazing. is the idea that the dwarfs can buy add ons after each foray into the mines?
Now I see it again I do remember the roller skating Kan. It looks great with its lick of paint. Is it allowed to roller skate on the cycle track though!?

Thanks everyone. Yes, the idea is that you start with a small mining crew and a basic cart and you go out and do missions grabbing some gems and magic emeralds along the way to invest in upgrades for your cart. It’s gorkamorka with dwarfs in a mine.
In other exciting news. The stunties just got some reinforcements.
