INVERNESS, Florida - A gun store declared "Muslim-free" in July is selling signed prints of the Confederate flag painted by George Zimmerman, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Andy Hallinan, owner of Florida Gun Supply in Inverness, was recently sued by the Council on American-Islamic Relations Florida after he posted a video to YouTube in which he said that Muslims could not shop at his store. Hallinan was standing in front of a Confederate flag in the video.

In a 10-minute long video posted on the store's website, Hallinan discusses the sale with Zimmerman, who said he decided to donate the paintings after hearing about the lawsuit against Hallinan. Zimmerman was acquitted in 2013 after shooting and killing Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, in a case that sparked protests and a national debate about race relations.

According to the website, the painting was originally an American flag, but Zimmerman decided to repaint it as a Confederate flag when he heard about the lawsuit.

The duo said they will split the proceeds to support their legal funds, living expenses and "advancing their mission to change the country."

The store owner banned Muslims, I don't think there was any mention of banning people because of the color of their skin.

If I were Muslim I would make sure to promote all 2nd Amendment purchases to be made at this guy's store by everyone in my community. Then after a few months expose him as a fraud for the "lolz".

It would also be amusing if a terrorist suspect gets caught with a weapon purchased from his store.

But then again I have a terrible sense of humor.

Someone needs to go in to that store, dressed in a full burka and attempt to buy a gun. When rejected they should insist they’re not a muslim, they converted to Christianity years ago and the burka is just a cultural thing.
