1. I never denied that most muslims are Asian or African, I merely pointed out that there is a lot more white muslims than you probably think there are.
2. European/North American is not the same as white. White is a skin colour, European/North American are geographical places. Lots of white people outside of Europe and North America, as well as non-white people in Europe and North America.
3. The Middle East is in Asia.
4. There are far more than 50 million white muslims. The Turks alone are with 72 million, and a lot of Turks (and many other Middle-Eastern peoples too) have very light skin.
5. Asian and African muslims are only 60% of the total muslim population (and yes, that includes the Middle East!)

1,550,710,000 out of 1,600,000,000 is only 60 percent? Well then I did not know that.

It actually really isn't. Lots of dark skin across the Mediterranean, darker than lots of 'non-white' people and groups. But you'd get very odd looks in this day and age for saying Italians and Greeks aren't white.

White, and ethnicity in general is basically a very weird notion that mixes in some racial characteristics (including skin colour but also other traits), but also culture, history and economic prosperity. Across Europe this produced this weird phenomenon where lots of groups where seen as non-white, until typically their economy caught up with Britain, France, Germany etc, at which point they were absorbed in to the white category. The Irish were particularly notable as being considered non-white, and I believe Russians were non-white for a long time as well.

Of course the entire notion of 'white people' is silly, given how many different types of 'white people' exist. Lumping them all into the same category makes about as much sense as saying that all black people are the same, or that all Asian people are the same.

They're not. There are differences even in closely aligned cultures (Americans are different to the English are different to Australians). It's also why I hate the phrase "person of colour", as if it is somehow adequate to lump everyone as either "white" or "not white".
