It has been brought to my attention that how do/can you defeat the tyranids? I mean the hordes of them i get but they plant living factories on planets that create Tyranids like every minute and they can get genes from defeated foes, which makes them stronger.

It seems that you cant truly defeat the trannyids like any other race because they just keep coming back for another beating till they succeed. They just cant seem to be stopped there is allways some infestation of nids somewere. Just how do you get rid of them?

Do we know their numbers? Its said that Hive fleet has a millions of Bio ships possbily untold billions maybe trillions of tyrannids in each full fleet and that 3 major fleets are just a tendril of main fleet still traveling from the Void...

Quadrillions of Tyrannids?

If that is true then humanity is really doomed. How can you stop such a force?

Tyranids are one of the few factions who can actually "win" (by consuming everything.)

It is possible to defeat their hive fleets in space, but once they get to a planet with life they are quite difficult to dislodge. Inquisitor Kryptman had some success with Exterminatus-ing a line of worlds in the path of Leviathan.

No one really knows if there's more 'nids coming. Only the Newcrons stands a chance of defeating them, though that's mostly because 'crons don't have any biomass to recycle.

Oh I don't think you have to worry about the Tyranids. I think you will need to worry about who is chasing the Tyranids.

Maybe the Nids are running away from something. Just imagine what can scare the Nids to make them run.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Tyranids can be defeated, sure. But the cost of such a victory would be devastating to the Imperium. Though, it would open up a window of opportunity for the Tau to expand their empire.

GW once stated in the ork book the only single force that could possibly stand up to the nids is if alllllll the orks got together and fought them, since apparently they are as numerous. Too bad that will never happen.

The old ones could return...

Automatically Appended Next Post:
or perhaps even Enslavers or Yu'vath.

Return of Yu'vath's as an 40k faction would be fun

As evidenced by recent trends the next tendrils of the Great Devourer are just flocks of Flyrants as far as the eye can see.
