Why? Finecast is clearly the right choice for those thin and long Heavy Gauss Cannons because of Finecast's bend-proof property.

I'm hoping on resculpts for the destroyer add-on kits, though I'm not likely to use them. My destroyer lord torso is going to come from the Barge kit, and I already have made 'other arrangements' for my heavy destroyers.

Glad Tomb Blades and Wraiths will be in separate kits. I was a bit worried they'd try to dual kit again.

Yeah I'm glad I have an unopened D. lord and several sets for Heavy Destroyers. Don't need them right now but if in the future I do, I won't have to rely on Finecast.

Boo! I will have to buy two kits to field one unit of Tomb Blades with one extra model on the sprue >.>
Why one one Sypder per box? if you can field 3 of then in one H/S for 50 pts it should be 3 per box. I think if they are £10 for 1, I won't be using then. Same with the Destroyers, single unit kits aren't good. O The finecast Destroyers lord/Heavy kits, just look at the finecast Necron Overlords and lords, all the staffs are bent. Finecast doesn't work when it's so thin.
Other than that, WOOT! Second Wave! So who here is going to get 2+ Wraiths kit on the day they get released?

I'm totally not surprised that they held off on two of the most wanted models until now. Think of how many lesser models they sold because Wraiths weren't available right away. It may have been only a week or two of strong sales of now lesser popular models but that's models that may not have sold as well if people could have put that money towards better models like the Wraiths and Spiders.
Or think about the people who bought a Ghost Ark to convert to a Triarch Stalker. Now they may buy a real Stalker too. That's one more model sold that normally wouldn't have sold.

Since no one takes them with that then there will be plenty of those to make Heavy Destroyers

The guy working on IA12 Alan Bligh told me at the open day it would be either side of Christmas, Will Hayes told me that he was currently working on a new scarab sized construct similar to a dragonfly in appearance so I don't know how long between working on and releasing is with regards to FW but hopefully we'll see that soon

Having followed Sean and his company for most of a year, I have to say that you'll never find a more upstanding, kind-hearted fellow. He's just not a good interviewer, but his energy for the game and his studio is infectious.

The metal Heavy Gauss Cannons from the Heavy Destroyer kits are my pick for the worst example of metal models. I have yet to see one that is straight, and even with some mild bending they always look at least a little warped. I mean, I'm sure Finecast will be no better, but I won't really miss the metal Heavy Gauss Cannons.
This is what all my Heavy Destroyers look like, too. It's just a better-looking gun.

I'm not going to bother. I've already got 13 metal ones (one of my favourite 40k sculpts ever), so at best I'll just pick up five more old models since I'm sure they'll start going pretty cheap. I would not be surprised if Preferred Enemy is something very similar to what was shown in the Pancake edition. It makes the Destroyers well worth their price, without being overpowered, and I cannot think of any units that would be game-breaking with such a change. (except that one Tau Ethereal would have to have its rules changed, or else everyone would send him running solo into the enemy, with everyone trying to avoid him -kinda like in Highlander)

I'm glad to see that wraiths will be plastic.
Since TWC was finecast and is $55, I wonder if plastic wraiths will be less...maybe $35-40?
