Only the Wolf Lord character is Finecast. The rest of the TWC are plastic.

Thunderwolf Cavalry is plastic, not Finecast.

The Wolf Lord that was released alongside them is Finecast and $41.25.

Using the TWC as an example might not be the best course of comparison anyways. Dependent upon the size, I'd say look at the recent Vargheist/Crypt Horror kit for Vampire Counts for pricing. You're gonna look at around $47 for a pricepoint for a trio of big kits.

Why one one Sypder per box? if you can field 3 of then in one H/S for 50 pts it should be 3 per box. I think if they are £10 for 1, I won't be using then. Same with the Destroyers, single unit kits aren't good. O The finecast Destroyers lord/Heavy kits, just look at the finecast Necron Overlords and lords, all the staffs are bent. Finecast doesn't work when it's so thin.

Other than that, WOOT! Second Wave! So who here is going to get 2+ Wraiths kit on the day they get released?

I think you're mistaken, you cannot field THREE tomb spyders for 50 points. It is 50 points PER tomb spyder, before any upgrade purchases, and they are 1-3 per heavy support slot.

Why would destroyers not be the same, they are a 1-5 unit and they have been that way for many years now and sold as single model boxes for just as long I believe.

Ah yes..... I was looking at a pic of the wolf lord box that said finecast and mixed it up with TWC.

Well, I'm looking forward to the WD each month, but that doesn't mean that I'll buy it. As someone earlier said, I'm still happy with the scans that'll see online until my flgs gets a few boxes on the shelves.

Actually I already have a "counts-as" Destroyer Lord converted, though he's in the form of an ANCIENT looking on-foot guy, made from a combo of Empire Wizard and Corpse Cart driver bodies, modeled sitting down on a modified chair from the Ghost Ark kit. But your idea is pretty ace, and I have all the necessary parts, and am always jonesin' for a new conversion project ( as if I didn't have enough WIPs!)

I'm not 100% anti-Finecast, and may at least consider the upgrade packs, but they would have to be much cooler looking than available plastic parrts. As your pics show, it's really easy to make something cool from existing bits (without even detracting from the model kits those bits come from)

looks super great, stalker is too big but I'm glad they used an actual triarch as the pilot. I have an old spyder that I've been subbing my c'tan for at lower points but i think i might retire the little guy for one of those monsters.

Nice looking models, those Wraiths look very deadly! The kits come with all the different wargear too which is great.Though I have just seen on the Spyder page the price of the kit, £20 for one.

It does seem to be on a smaller base, the same size as the Tomb Blades

The spyder and stalker are better than I expected aswell.

Those look pretty boss! I'm quite happy. Don't see any flyers, or special characters, or the rumored upgrade sprues yet. So, this may not be everything.

Tomb Spyder looks great except for one small problem. The small flying base is going to result in the thing constantly falling over. It needs the large flying base just like the previous metal Spider had.

That looks awesome! It looks like too little if that's all that's being released this month. Only 4 kits? Last month we had a ton of Finecast recasts and new Empire models, so hopefully there will be more on the way. I was really looking forward to the Night Scythe and Doom Scythe.

Tomb Blades are meh, but not really into their rules anyway.

Triarch Stalker falls into the category of a big arse model which I tend to shy away from, but it looks pretty cool.

Tomb Blade...bleh...I really don't like the look of them. Sucks cause I definately want a couple units of these.

Spyder is amazing compared to the old ones...but damn that's pricey.

Triarch Stalker is pretty much as expected. Freaking huge for a walker, but inline with the artwork. Hopefully it's not as pricey as I'm thinking it will be.

Wraiths are not quite as nice looking as the Spyder, but still pretty decent.

Here's to hoping against hope that the rest of the prices will be reasonable.

Ooh, the stalkers front legs are on ball and socket joints so you might be able to pose it down to a smaller silhouette, and I hadn't thought of it before but with the weapon underslung instead of on top of the vehicle you could get cover from a ghost ark while drawing your line of sight underneath it, like and upside down version of the rifleman dred behind a rhino.

Also those heavy gauss cannons are clearly not the old end to end gauss rod long heavy cannons but rather a squat regular cannon looking gun with 3 rows of rods instead of 2, which points to the finecast heavy destroyer upgrade kit rumor from before to be true if not yet pictured.

Pricewise, I'm betting 50-60 for the Trarch Stalker, 45-50 for the Wraiths.

Yes, but they had a lot of finecast releases as well. I think most people are expecting at least two finecast characters to be released as well.
