Needing a massive gun or missile pod for objective in a mission base game. I looked around but only small guns came up.

Not a lot of info.

What type of gun do you need?
What game system is it for?
What is the size you were hoping foe?

Sorry guys 28mm game. it is for dust warfare campaign game. Would be great if it could be used for other gaming systems too. And the cheaper the better.
I just need the gun I am building the emplacement.

Have a look at 1/48 and above scale artillery / field guns.

Pity the Khador Avalance Cannon kit isn't in production anymore, that was always my favorite big gun.

The deathstrike missile from 40k might do well, but if you want cheap, perhaps search WW2 artillery kits to find a cannon or missile that may work, and just convert it over?

If you want a massive gun, go for a large 1/35th scale kit.

The emplacement can easily be built with cardboard or foamcore board, plastered over with Polyfilla or Milliput. It's going to be a main gun pit with trenches leading to crew shelter, observation post, ammo dump, possibly defensive machine gun points, and so on.

Alternatively there are many kits for missiles and launchers, like Patriot, Bloodhound, and so on. Lots of variety for something that could be moderate size up to really big.

If you are fine with a missile (think ICBM) just do what I did. Get a model rocket nose cone, and make it look like the tip is poking out of an underground hatch.

You can get a bag of 4 or 5 small nose cones, or one HUGE one for $9. Then all you need is a base that looks like an open hatch.

How big do you want the gun? Many DUST vehicles have spare weapons you could use. If you want to go bigger, there's Paulson Game's Tsunami cannon. Even bigger would be an arm from a DFG Crusader. Bigger than that and you might want to cut down a nerf gun or something.

There's a pretty cool gatling/laser cannon that comes with the cheapo army dudes at the dollar store. I'll post a pic if I can.

I'll assume you're playing W40K as you did not specify what game this is for.

Two options immediately come to mind:
1. Plasma Obliterator - You'll have to find one on eBay.
2. Aquila Strongpoint - Which the Plasma Obliterator happens to fit onto as well.

The guy on the right has a large gun, costs $1. Get four of them and make a quad cannon?

Apparently Revell are doing some retro cold war models, these should fit well with Dust.
