This is just what popped into my head, no experience in painting them. This would be for a nice metallic blue/red like the 30K models:
Prime models (Grey?)
Basecoat blue armour with metallic
Basecoat red armour with metallic
Wash?
Glaze blue armour with Lamian Medium + Guillaman Blue (1:1)
Glaze red armour with Lamian Medium with [Insert red glaze] (1:1)
Pick out details, lenses, cloth etc
Highlight blue w/lighter blue?
Highlight red w/medium orange?
"Done"
This is how I would go about doing it, I'm sure there are many tutorials out there.
My colours on an overall black basecoat are:
Armour
Kantor Blue Base
Nuln Oil Shade
Caledor Sky first highlight
Lothern Blue second highlight
Glove(s) / Markings / Eyes
Khorne Red Base
1:1 Mix of Ogryn Flesh / Leviathan or Agrax Earthshade purple Shade (not for the markings )
Wazdakka Red first highlight
Squig Orange second highlight
Soft Armour
Vallejo Black Base
Eshin grey highlight
In painting Crimson Fists, forget about layer highlighting, because 9/10 times it looks daft. Edge highlighting will be your friend.
You have to remember Crimson Fist armour is darker than Ultramarines, so I use darker colours when painting it.
Prime: Grey or Black, your preference.
Base
Kantor Blue
Wash
Nuln oil or Drakenhof depending on how dark you want the crevices, and then bring it back up using Kantor blue again, yet miss out where the shade has settled.
Edge highlight
First use Alaitoc Blue to go round all edges of the armour and then use Hoeth Blue to highlight the tops of shoulders and helmets so show where light would hit.
The fists are painted as
Khorne Red
Nuln Oil or Carroburg Crimson
Wazdakka Red
Evil Sunz Scarlet
Finally, I assume everyone by this point knows how to paint a bolter
Happy painting!

Actually another question... Do the sergeants have red helmets like the Ultramarines? Since they seem like a strict codex chapter, I was wondering if they would as the Ultramarines do...

Many thanks!
All chapters are free to do as they please, but if they follow the codex strictly they'd have red helmets for sergeants, white for Vets and red with white stripe for Veteran sergeants.

Crimson fists don't go much for any decoration beyond painting their fists. The graphic of sternguard in the current SM codex shows them with blue helmets.
Just thinking there, I have heard mention that standard marines have their left fist red only, while Veterans and above have both fists red. I may be mistaken on that though
