Just wondering for conversion purposes how large the head were on Mantic Paladin figures and if they would look ok on mainly Fireforge Templar/Teutonic infantry. If they would look ok on any of the plastic ranges out there, Gripping Beast, Warlord, Perry, then they probably would on the Fireforge.

I think they would work reasonably well. Mantic's humans is less bulky than GW's and so closer in size to Perry/Fireforge etc.

Check out Sooty's log on the mantic forum. He uses both Basilean Paladins and plastics from the above mentioned ranges. While I don't think he's tried to combine them, he might put together one for a photo if you ask.

Can you access the forum at all or does it just not let you register?

The mantic forum is still wonky after the update some weeks ago and you might need to clear your browser history, cache and cookies to access it.

If you find the Saving the Men At Arm's thread, I've posted pictures of the Paladins with Eccentric Minis' helmeted heads...or vice versa. They were scale shots, anyway. I'm pretty sure the Perry heads will be too small.

I cleared the cache in order to access the forums. It lets me fill all the registration data and then says the admin won't fufill the registration.

Will look for that other thread. I'm looking to use the paladin heads on other figures, if Perry heads would be too small, then paladin ones would be too big?

On this page is a pic of a paladin head on an eccentric mini. Perry might not be as bad a fit as I had thought.
