Including the stuff i have waiting to paint...
Mechanicum - Ordo Reductor + Mechanicum - Taghmata ~8700pts
Knight Household - Mechanicum Alignment ~3000pts
Vanilla Marines ~2200pts

Ordo Reductor Favorite Unit: A tie between Thallax and Calleb Decima - Calleb's new Isstvan3 profile allows for "0-1 heavy support choice from the space marine legion army list with the tank type only". this is the only way that an Ordo Reductor force can feild a LR achillies in a game.
Taghmata Favorite Unit: Archmagos Lachrimallus - recurring thrall units are pretty funny, not reliable on a 5+, but a good laugh for mixing things up a bit from the norm.
Knight household Favorite Unit: Questoris Knight Magaera - i loved thallax as soon as i saw them and the Magaera is basicly a huge thallax impersonator with it's lightning cannon, snowflake rules and fancy equipment.
Vanilla Marines Favorite Unit: Anvillus pattern drop pod - it drops without endangering the troops inside, it heat blasts the stuff nearby, keeps the unit inside snug until next turn and if it gets destroye then the unit inside can assault the turn after.

Death Guard - 20,000+ points - All with at least 1 coat of paint. Grave Wardens hold a special place in my heart, though I am fond of the 20-man tac squad and destroyers
Thousand Sons - 2,500 points and growing - All basically painted. Who knows yet.... beyond librarians. they are pretty fun
Solar Auxilia - 4,000+ points - mix of painted and non. lasrifle sections do pretty amazing things for 100 point blob squads
Militia - 1,500 points - based on southern confederates . Not sure yet, still working on aquiring them alll
Mechanicum - 1 model (and growing) - he is painted very well. Not sure on favorite unit untill I play test more, but Ursurax are amazing (they are iron man!)

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

Cybernetica: Probably because Automata.....

Militia: Survivors of the Dark Age. Because they are more like Skitarii than in the 40k-books.

Ultramarines. About 5k worth in total.

My favorite unit is my Predator Executioner. That thing brutalizes blob meq/teq. It's hard to slot in my lists but when I can it does suprisingly well for such a small tank. Small being a relative term of course in comparison to the giants running in 30k.

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
30k Ultramarines: 2000 pts
Bolt Action Germans: ~1200 pts
AOS Stormcast: Just starting.
The Empire : ~60-70 models.

MY main 40k force is Iron warriors with a small Mechanicum detachment built for allies in larger games. Will probly expand this once more proper dark mechanicum rules and models come out.

I have also started on a small allied force of Solar Auxillia, and converting a Warp cult from chaos cultists. Battle brothers with any "traitor" army is great.

Iron Warriors-4000pts. Favourite unit- Siege Tyrants!!! I'd been completely out of the old evil empires thrall for several years but the good luck/misfortune to bump into a nice group of 30K players at the time Betrayal at Calth came out. The Cataphractii pattern terminators were just too gorgeous to resist but I've never rated non-shooty terminators and the Tyrants are the shootiest terminators(that could be taken as troops via Pride of the Legion) by a long shot which combined with the simple paint scheme sold me on IVth Legion. Shame about the fluff! Close second favourites for me are Iron Havocs due to a love of RTB01 style rocket launchers and the Quad Mortars due to my love of pure frakking hate.

Imperial fists. About 2500 points.

Reasons:

1. Black Templars were my first army. (Sons of Dorn!)
2. Rogal Dorn is a prick. My kind of people.
3. He was chosen by the emperor to protect Terra. Admittedly, Horus and crew did a number on the planet, but at the time he was selected, they weren't expecting 8 legions to turn rebel, were they?

Favorite unit is my Templar Brethren. They kill gak dead.

I play a WB. I think I have 3000 pts table-ready. Never really thought about what my favorite unit is: I'll just say Lorgar Transfigured, because picking your own Psychic Powers is something I've never had access too, and the novelty of it hasn't worn off yet. But I really enjoy simple 20-man Tac Squads with Dark Channeling and an Apothecary. My WB project actually started as a CSM EC project, which evolved into a HH EC project, but once I borrowed HH1 and got a good look at the HH rules for legions, I was drawn to all the Daemon Marine stuff, and switched to WB.

Cozy cockpit of an Archer ARC-5S

Solar Auxilia - About 3000 pts and growing
Favourite unit: Lord Marshal backed by a squad or two of Household Retinue. I adore my (overly expensive) HQ build because she can go toe to toe with most HQ's out there (Paragon blade, yissss!) and actually stand a good chance at surviving the ordeal, thanks to being able to pick your warlord trait (hello Eternal Warrior!), toss in a squad or two of Household Retinue, who come with Preferred Enemy (Infantry) and a nice WS5 when in base to base with friendly models (which is also passed on to the Lord Marshal) and you've got a nice bit of RIP & TEAR that can under the right circumstances do quite a bit of damage, whether they are assaulting or on the receiving end of one.

Questoris Knights - 2000 pts and still growing!
Favourite unit: The Knight Warden, which I use as the suit of armour of choice for my Seneschal (HQ). Hasn't been brought down yet and has always tenaciously clung to the last few remaining HP's, all the while tearing any opposition a new one with the many guns it sports. Only downside is the random warlord trait, guess I'm a bit spoiled by my Solar Auxilia warlord.

Mechanicum - 1000 pts
Favourite unit: A fully kitted out Arch-Magos Prime that I unleashed on my regular Tau opponent during a Zone Mortalis session. I feared it was overkill at first but learned to love having a warlord that could regenerate wounds, shoot several guns at the same time and still wade into the survivors with reckless abandon. It's a massive point sink, but feth it right? This is what 30k is all about!

Ultramarines - 10 pts (single marine painted as this stage)

1. reading the Horus rising trilogy made Horus awesome
2. ability to play with Loken
3. Primary 40k is 8500 points of Imperial Fists(Very nice break from yellow)
4. Seamfoam green is fun to paint.
5. All their special units look great and chaotic.

Iron Warriors because I like massed infantry and wasn't sold on the special rules/units that DG have. I really like the fluff for Night Lords, but I really disliked painting their scheme, just way to much work when my basic starter army is about 100 models.

talkin' smack 'bout the Guard, boy? I'll have you know that we are better at infantry slog than the warriors are!

Deathshroud: the 'huge' buff that Justaerin got gave them a Deathshroud statline, something we've had forever! (and we have better CCWs then those loosers )
Grave Wardens: The ONLY cataphractii unit who can over watch, AND they can ruin the days of infantry (light and medium), melt mechanicum in close combat, eat charges like bad-asses, can gun down MCs like nothin', and are STILL the same point cost of regular terminators

Cool, you're special units are 1) something the mechanicum does better (robots w/ breacher shields) 2) a good ranged terminator squad, and 3) a buffed heavy weapon team. Not half bad I ignore the terrain that slows you down, those pinning checks you get to re-roll, AND I can screw with people's toughness and cover saves to a silly degree!

Anywho, that's my new 4 line sales pitch about DG could still do with some refinement

Imperial Fists 5,000 probably more give or take.

Titan Legions: 5100 pts

Reasons Why:
Imperial Fists
1: Fluuuff. I love all the characters and story behind the Fists.
2: I love the Awesome dynamic themes to choose, boarding assault style, Seige, and defensive play.
3: My 40k army is Blood Ravens, and while I gave heavy consideration to Thousand Sons, I decided to go the opposite of Psykers, and I was bored to death with painting red.
4: I did a few paint scheme tests and out of all that I tried, I found Fists Yellow to be the most fun, followed by Sons of Horus green.

Titan Legions:
1: Because titans are awesome.
2: I like the fluff behind them and the legions I chose (Astorum and Tempestus/tempestor)
3: They're easily usable in 40k. (Within reason after all)
4: see 1

Armies:
32,000 points (Blood Ravens) 2500 (and growing) 1850

Sitting at about 4k at the moment almost all infantry.

I just love the whole mindset.

Plus it may also help that I'm sitting on about 3-4k of Forge World 40k Death Guard. Gonna be mighty handy when we get to the Siege of Terra and Plague Marines become an option...surprise, I can pop out those too!

Blood Angels. I was thinking about White Scars as I was also going to use them for 40k and White Scars are better than Blood Angels in that regard. But I prefer the fluff of Blood Angels more and Sanguinius > Jaghatai.

Can only hope that the 40k Angel Intervention Battle Company (or whatever it is called) makes Blood Angels great again. Or just a new Codex. I'll wait. But I'm not going to bandwagon onto the vanilla Codex (at least for now. Might do for Hit and Run/Furious Charge if my meta ramps up in stupidity, thanks to new powers).

Rampaging Reaver Titan Princeps

I've gone a bit mental with 30k

My primary force is Alpha Legion. Which surprised me, but the colour scheme and the whole devious guile they have drew me in. And, when I finally tried the colour scheme myself, that was it I ended up painting a pile in a few short months.

Next up is the Mechanicum or, more specifically, Ordo Reductor - finally, AdMech! Yes, I know GW finally released the AdMech books, but I heard some second hand stories that they did this because the Mechanicum sold so well. And, looking at the models, it's not surprising. Currently assembling myself a tank force backed up with Minotaurs. Can't wait for the new Macrocarid Explorator model they have in the works either. Got a warhound sat here in pieces and am planning an Ordinatus to go with them.

Finally, there are the White Scars. Love 'em. Fast moving free riders. Though, I admit, the colour scheme is giving me a little trouble. My first five test pieces killed my motivation to paint them for a while, but I've got some new ideas and will most likely start again soon. Got an Angels Wrath rite of war force planned out - loads of Jetbikes, Aircraft and Javelins. Lovely Jubbly!

As an aside, I really am looking forward to the rumoured new Adeptus Titanicus game. I'm a bit of Titan head of old, but 40k scale and the purchase cost kills my attempts at collecting them!

I'm hoping to be acquiring Cataphracthi and a Contemptor soon. And with the Space Wolf kit on pre-order it looks very promising.

I've still in the back in my mind simply making a Death Guard army, but I've so many novels of Space Wolves and loved my old 13th Company army. And i've a gut feeling that one of the Legion special kits like Grave Wardens will be a Wulfen pack.

That i'm hoping looks -way- better then the Wulfen kits they made earlier in the year. I'm going through a move and a large transitionary period in my life. So i'm very patient for how long Forgeworld's going to take to steam out a line of kits for the Wolves. I'm optimistic it will be brutal.
