After weeks of getting 5 minutes a day to paint I finally rushed the finish and got some guys done.

I am starting on IFs now and this is really nice! Your yellow is blended so nicely, especially at the bigger parts at their legs area. How many washes of yellow do you take to do that? And are you using GW paint or another source?

Your work looks really nice. The black compliments the yellow really well.

I cheated. I used an airbrush. Vallejo white primer. I thinned out GW Averland Sunset and with airbrush medium and applied one coat. Then I did about 3 coats of the GW yellow glaze Lamenter's Yellow with a brush. The glaze went on very last and went over the highlighting. I use the purple wash for all the cracks and crevices. It is he opposite of yellow and makes it stand out differently than shading with brown I think.

Lovely yellow, and I really like the black elements on them.
