I actually don't see much whining at all, but then again since the whole first page of comments only goes back 16 minutes (!?!!) because there are so many, maybe it's blown over

2.15 million, with 3 hours to go... Wow

Also don't you think last second stretches are a bit overrated? I mean, campaigns like this generally shoot up at the end anyway. I'm sure the stretches helped (a lot!) but I just got home and it was possible I wouldn't have been able to check after this morning. With that many backers, people may miss a last second stretch and not be happy about it.

A pledge manager fixes this, but still... I don't see any reason they have to add a final stretch. It'd be nice, but maybe they'll do something interesting at the end anyway.

Either way, it's been a huge success, obviously!

I too was hoping for another stretch goal, and a tad dissapointed that we didn't get one, but the people in the comments section over on Kickstarter were losing their minds over it.

They just like to pledge so they can piss and moan.

Someone a few days ago posted he was dropping out because "Season 2 was not as good as a deal as season1". The next 10 posts were people using examples and math to prove him wrong. He then psoted another half dozen times how were persecuting him for being a dissenting voice.

I just think some popel don't get enough attention inthe real world and use KS to troll and get the attention they crave. I also think some people are just inconsiderate and have an internet connection.

$2.2 Mil....Really? Would be interested to know what an average first run of a comparable board game makes for some one like Fantasy Flight or such.. Seems like a serious amount of money. Bet there is some banker some where super pissed at KS right now, bet he would have loved to make a big loan to have them make this game!

We've got 44 survivors in total (incl. Season 1). 45 if you include Kyoko, who's super-hard to get hold of given she's an exclusive for those that get their submitted missions published on their site.

But on a serious note, I resisted all the add ons (save one) for KD:M, but I could not resist all the survivors for Zombicide Season 2. Most I've ever spent on a KS.

$950 total on Kickstarters since I joined last March. yeesh.

I added an extra $5 to mine for the skull tokens. My plastic tokens from S1 vanished into the ether almost the moment they were removed from the box. I have 4 left, so more is a good thing.

The total acutally went up a comple of dollars after the timer ran out.

Zombicide Season 2 bumped Kingdom Death out of the Most Funded Tabletop Game slot on Kickstarter.

It was also pointed out that while Zombicide Season 1 wave 2 is slated to ship in April, slightly behind it's Q1 estimate, the behomoth that was the Ogre Kickstarter, kickstarted around the same time as Season 1, and slated for shipping in November of last year, with mostly printed components, and no plastic figures, still hasn't shipped.

$2.25 million! See you in September!

What a crazy total, beyond anyone's expectations surely!

Thank you to all our backers for making this a great campaign - we'll be contacting you with survey information shortly, and will announce it as an update when we do!

It's a two part process:

1. A Kickstarter survey will go out, which is hosted by Kickstarter itself. We'll ask you most importantly for your email address.

2. We'll use the info you give us to populate an account on our pledge manager, and when that's complete we'll send you a link at the email address you gave us through Kickstarter.

The survey will come a little earlier as we'll need to figure out how many tilepacks to print, but it's not important to get everything right on your survey except your email address.

In the meantime, relax, and dream of zombies! We will!

Wow. $2.2 million. Well congratulations CMoN. Didn't pay too much attention to this since not a fan of zombies, but think the artist boxes were a nice touch. Hope that is a hint of future works with those artist. Like Smith and Kopinski.

Curious how long before they unseat Reaper's Bones for the highest funded tabletop top game (even though it isn't technically listed as a tabletop game). Don't see Confrontation or Wrath of Kings pulling it off. Suspect it will be something we don't expect or know is being worked on.

Kevin Smith is a huge walking dead fan. Someone needs to introduce him to Zombicide and make it happen.

They didn't for the original Zombicide either..

Season 1 had Cardboard Tube Samurai, which was a Penny Arcade tie in. I'm assuming that's what WhaleMusic360 was refering to.

I was half expecting another Penny Arcade figure myself. There was a noticeable boost to Zombicide pledges after the Penny Arcade plug.

I doubt we'll see any more Penny Arcade tie-ins.

Well, yeah the other half of penny arcade for sure, but also sed wars, relic knights, maybe some sort of kingdom death. Some missed opportunity out there for sure while its still fresh in mind.

Why? Not sarcastic, I've always been a bit mystified by the seemingly endless popularity of PA (I only very occasionally read the comic), did something off happen given their previous endorsed tie-ins?

Nothing I can easily say, just a feeling from my talks with various other people in the industry. I get the feeling that the PA Folks aren't worth the money 'they bring in'.

Yeah, that's odd! Personally I am not all about the tribute or cross-over figures... like AT ALL

. But I get that they're crowd-pleasers and sell well, so I'm surprised we didn't see more. Maybe they don't want to go back to the same well too many times

Dreadball, they put a very brief mention up (not even tweeting it) on a Sunday a few hours before the Kickstarter ended.
