I've been making a bit of progress lately. Tonight I want to finish up my second in command for a tac squad, and start the initial drybrush of the first 20 in my vintage night gobbo unit.

I'm working on a display base for my current resin GK kit. Slow going since I don't have access to any power tools at the moment to get the templates cut out. Doing all the cutting with X-acto knives and hand sanding. Its taking forever.

Working on models for my Dark Angels armies.

Right at this moment working on a Finecast Sammael.

After that I'll work on a Deathwing Command Squad then a Ravenwing Command Squad.

Sprayed my Dark Vengeance Chosen and Lord, finished painting a unit of 10 Plaguebearers. Have to say, having done them, I really like the new plastic kit. Goes together really well, has great detail and character, and takes paint really well too. A big step up from the Bloodletters I painted last week!

I'm re-basing my mantic stuff on clear acrylic disks (CADs!) and getting some paint down on my junk pile for Skalk's competition.

Today I am going to finish building my last rhino chassis for my BT. Just have to paint the black and then line highlight it, then it can be built.

Painting a landraider, drop pod, predator, and a rhino Imperial Fist colors. Down to painting 2 tac squads, 3 HQ's and another drop pod after this painting session. Thanksgiving break is really nice to get caught up.

Painted another enforcer in the middle of Cleveland international airport. Lol. If anyone needs to know, yes, you can fly with GW paints. I brought 6 and had no issue. Just showed the security guys and they were cool with it.

Looking up some near future Science Fiction miniatures and writing the background for my new game.

Maybe paint a couple of warriors of chaos. Drybrushing has produced some good results with them.

Today I assembled some guardsmen and cold one knights. I recently came into some painted cadian snipers and a metal crusader that all need stripping so they are soaking in the green. I'm going to be assembling and stripping for quite some time. I hadn't realized I had "painted" almost all of my guard when I was young. and simple green avoids boubonic brown like the plague.

Bubonic...plague? BWAHAHAH!

I always see this one when I'm surfing around and I always think "oh! today I'll paint up such and such..." but then I never do.

Finished up some fine details on my two grenadier squads. Basing them up and taking photos after lunch. After that I'll start some greenstuff work on a light infantry squad as well as prep the sergeants and advisers for painting.

Today I assembled some Pink Horrors. I gotta say they kinda suck to put together when compared to the awesomeness that is the Plaguebearers. I figure they'll be less fun to paint too. I could easily do another 20 plaguebearers before I got bored!

I think I will pick up some Daemonettes soon just to complete the "basic troops" for Daemons. Sort of accidental because I'm not collecting a Daemon army, they just looked interesting to paint!

I might prime my kroot instead to give myself a break so i don't get burned out (and yes, 4 days in a row is possibly enough to burn me out on painting for a while. I'm hyper critical of my own work and anal retentive about it, and i'm a slow painter to boot. It's an epically terrible trifecta of traits to possess when you want to paint).

I'm building up a small points 600 army for a doubles tourney coming up, luckily I managed to get together with a guy playing Praetorians, and in writing my list it looks like I'm going for an Al'Rahem/light infantry theme subconsciously no matter what I do. I've decided to flesh out my otherwise currently bland IG into a reconnaissance/scout regiment, also planning to use German WW2 style twig/bush camouflage on the helmets.
