I've ordered a few Tau. Not much cleanup needed- very clean casts. Minimal flash or other funny business with bubbles and whatnot.

Definitely plenty of detail, and they scale just a tad bit larger than the regular figures, so they make for good heroes or HQ.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I can second this. Minimal clean up and good casts. I've ordered two "totally not Tau" HQs, one "totally not Necron" Overlord and a pair of heads that "totally weren't designed for" my Kastelan Robots.

The gallery has a few 'in the flesh'.

I wonder if the middle from the limo is meant to be able to work here too. I see a seem between the driver and the rear engine.

That stealth suit pilot is awesome!

I wish I had enough disposable income to order all of their cars. Why? To do an imperial city that actually looks like an imperial city instead of a massive military base. Gothic cars everywhere.. maybe a gothic train and all of that CoD terrain I have sitting on sprues. On top of the CoD mat I bought back when it was available.

arg.. now math is being done in my head.. very expensive math..

I can also say that the vehicle models are awesomely well made. A few bubbles, a minor mold line - total cleanup maybe ten minutes.

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.

I use diecast cars for a lot of more modern/post-apoc games and I really prefer it to the weird small buildings a lot of MDF companies make that don't really look like anything except a paintball style barrier disguised as a building.
They're the right height for infantry and actually add to the narrative feel of a table instead of just being "blah" another piece of generic LOS blocker..

Yes, I think a heavy stubber would look good up there.
Perhaps the least practical of the civilian cars, a lot of engine in the back, not much going on but still intriguing. If they hadn't already crafted a vehicle with a curved crew compartment I would think this was inspired by the GW cult vehicle as shown in the teaser art.
I wonder if Kestral is getting tired of painting cars for me.

I bought a fair few of their models ( 7 tech adepts, 3 inquisitors, 2 cars and the cult limousine). Only had one tiny defect on one of the inquisitors easily filled.
The resin is really nice, not greasy at all, hardly any mound lines and flash is really easy to remove. Having scenic bases included is nice too. The cars and limo are slightly smaller than you might think but really well cast for such big blobs of resin with no warping. Lovely!

I like that new car and I'd paint it. It seems less impractical to me, due to the ability to see out of the windows.... : ) I find some weird texturing 3D printing lines in the car resin, but otherwise quite good. There's really nothing you can do about it, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems at my level of painting - you can't really see it under a good coat of paint.

I *like* the size of the cars personally. Here's a scale shot, though the mechanic is warmachine and thus perhaps a smidge larger than 40K standard.

Squad leader ghost?

Don't like the asymmetrical leg armor- one hoof, one armored foot, but eh. Otherwise pretty cool model.

Really like my Greater Good from them. Definitely need more!

About the leg: When looking at some of the other views, it seems more like this guy is an amputee, similar to ol' Big Shas, only Big Ghost has a prosthetic replacement.

One of the inquisitors had an odd limb IMO. Still a tempting figure though!

That's what I thought too.. seems like most of the aesthetics are there but maybe it was damaged or he's just really really slow at getting into/out of his armor..

New car from Wargames Exclusive the Razorblade.

Once again cool, steam punk and diesel punk and gothic as all get out, but the fact it's a 2 door turns me off. I can't imagine anyone important enough to have a car not also having a driver and bodyguard. And I can't see Inquisitors climbing over the folded front seat to get out.

Maybe there's 2 rows of seating and the doors are real big?

I think it's like how you get a Rolls Royce so you can ride and be driven and you get a Bentley for when you want to drive yourself. I'm sure some Inquisitors and VIPs want to be behind the wheel sometimes instead of relying on a chauffeur. That would explain the cowcatcher on the front of the car. It's not like Inquisitors want sirens on their vehicles and you know they won't tolerate slow drivers in the fast lane.

That is the best analogy I've read all day.

I must work that into a conversation.

New Greater Good gun drones. Now these things look cool. I'm going to grab a few to represent a high tech next gen drone. They look like little techno-burgers turned sideways lol. They are as cute as they are deadly. https://wargameexclusive.com/shop/greater-good/greater-good-gun-drones-3u/ They remind me of the portal 2 sentries combined with the floating disc thing in XCOM.

At the pace/price of FW's versions?

Not to mention sculpt quality/preference?

Why not?

30K is all the rage these days, and apparently some (many?) will be showing up in 40K soon too!

OH-I Wanna get out of here

There are already Kabuki and other's out there, and the eventual FW model. Seems out of WE's wheelhouse, being grimdark cars and overtly female versions of models.

Maybe they are trying to cash in on 1k Sons while they are hot, and that's cool. Gotta make money where you can. Just doesn't do it for me.

The Necrocyborgs are my favourite squadron.

Never bought anything from Wargames Exclusive myself but I've seen someone run the female AdMech Inquisitor (excuse me - the "Heresy Hunter Technical Priestess with Powered Axe and Plasmonic Pistol") and she's pretty amazing. I do like the Inquisition batmobile too.

Some of us feel the recent Magnus model was pretty awful. The WE model looks much more how I'd imagine Magnus to look, even after attaining permanent residence in the warp.

Depending on what Gw releases for Tau this year I'ts looking like a fe/we year again.

I've wanted Big Shas for awhile now. Going to grab some marker drones, greater good bases, and shogun. Maybe one of the drone bikes.
