Nice work on the tattoos on the beastmen. They've come up very nicely, as have the cultists.

Hiya dakka-naughts. The tattoos are nice, which was a surprise as it was a bit of a stretch painting that small. Do you ever find yourself taking a deep breath and holding it before you do a really fine bit? I find it helps with the very fine motor control. I'm gona try and make them awesome by adding highlights soon. To tired to paint that small tonight. I'm butting base colours on the lizards, the guns are going to be blue-grey NMM because its sci-fi.

Good progress on the lizards.

A very useful skill Cam... we need a tutorial on that! Well I've been busy and here is the deathwatch fast assault section.
Well that's it then, I've painted everything in the box bar the the little communications stick thing... I might not bother with it.
I don't know what should be the next big thing after the lizards and the robot it is a toss up between dark vengence dark angels, that horrible chaos dreadnought thing or sicaran rust dudes... Automatically Appended Next Post: oh or I have a box of those dark eldar with spiky hoverboards!
Does anyone else feel that the popularity of dark eldar has peaked? I used to see a lot of em about but not so much now and the sets are selling cheap on feebay.

Hello all. Its been a hell of a month during which I've only had two days off work so that's my excuse for not touching the brush... retail is a real alien queen of a job.
But is over now and I'm into time off so I finished up the beastmen:

And for fun I recycled some 90s issue chaos marines with some chaos warrior hand weapons, stick em on a nice scenic base and they look lovely:

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass.
