"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos
"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
You shouldn't be worried about the one bullet with your name on it, Boldric. You should be worried about the ones labelled "to whom it may concern"-from Blackadder goes Forth!
Kate Beckinsdale in tight PVC is never a guilty pleasure.
It's a pleasure that should be openly revelled in.
My mates voted the first one "shiny arse movie of the year" when it came out (and two of the matrix movies came out that year as well) - and that was based purely off the kick-arse trailer.
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
This looks pretty awful and cliché, but I'm excited nonetheless. I lov5r the atmosphere of this series even when they go off the rails, and Charles Dance is always awesome.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights! The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.
These movies are incredibly terrible. There's nothing wrong with reveling in cliche and nonsense, but you still have to add some wit or imagination. The whole series feels like a Vampire campaign that the GM has simultaneously over-prepared and under-prepared for. Long on plot events, very short on opportunities to let the players make their own choices. Meanwhile the players struggle to find any way to define their characters, instead they're just straight-jacketed in to the plot. Even the player who's had the same character for five campaigns has barely developed beyond being hot, good at killing and angry and bad dudes... I guess she added a characteristic in the last movie when she got a child she had to protect.
That said, I have seen all of these movies, except for the one that Beckinsale wasn't in. That is no coincidence.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”
Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.
The main thing that trailer tells me is that either Kate Beckinsale is a literal vampire, an actual witch, or employs a team of cosmetic surgeons bigger than most hospitals because she doesn't appear to have aged in 13 years.
"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
I like the underworld movies.. we'll be checking this out but will wait for cable as usual. We quit going to the theaters when we realized they all smell like tinkle.
The first one was the best, but that's always the case except for star wars. (Empire, yo.)
