Aw man, I literally bought one yesterday haha. I thought with the updated Warscroll (cast on 7, no monsters) it had already balanced itself.
It'll probably still be a good thing to use with my Hurricanum even at 100 points.

The Balewind Vortex is way more expensive than I was expecting (I figured it would be around 50 points). It is odd that Sylvaneth Wyldwood are still free for the one allegiance that can exploit them.

Agreed. I don't think anyone anywhere was complaining about Wyldwoods being free for NON-Sylvaneth allegiance armies.

Will be interesting to see what people sit on it.
If kroak wasn't so points heavy I'd be tempted to sit him there as a turret, throwing out his own direct damage spells along with bolt for even more damage.

I'm going to a team tourney that give 40% extra points of summoning pool(so 1000-1400) but forces you to declare all the units you're going to summon on the list. So my plan is to take a weirdfist with a weirdnob shaman, a full Ironjawz 1k list and 4 balewind vortexes. Green Puke on 2x2D6+6 range or foot of Gork at 36 inch range casted on a 7 with +1 mortal wound per stomp will be fun.
