What's this? Someone doubting my skillz... All kidding aside... The most difficult and time consuming part of any modeling project is coming up with a viable design. The design of the pregnant grinder evolved slowly over time. With a concrete design I could probably complete a bio-Titan in a week. I just so happen to have two finished designs.

Well Guys,

The second Daemon Princess is getting molded today. Along with to new alternate heads so you all cam get your tentacle fetish on. Anyway I come up with a nominal price $50 USD. My thinking is this, these models are the same size as Forgeworld's KOS:






Now that thing costs $ 125 smackers. The Games workshop KOS which is hideous by the way is $50, so less than a blood thirster. However, I'm open to being swayed by argument on the price.

Here's a new head design for ya:

Its kinda inspired by "Legend", but hey if you want a female Blood Thirster you could do that too.











I haven't decided on how to resolve the hair yet. Tentacles or pony tail.

Sorry, she's already setting in her mold. Anyway, she has 18 individual head tentacles, that can be cut to the length you choose. Immerse them in warm watter and pose them any way you like. Once she's de-molded she'll be posted up hear as well.





Fiends:


This is just a simple sculpted conversion. Never understood why Fiends have 10 rather than 6 breasts. So, anyway I'm fixing that. Its still in WIP, and yes I know the bottom pair is missing nipples.

The horned head reminds me of Ico, for some reason. Which is odd when I stop to reflect on it. Maybe something about the temple?

Nice man, keep it up, though, it does look a little rediculous since she is nearly blinded by those massive horns. Oh and I may be wanting some things caste in the near future, if you could ever find the time!

At the moment only the one Daemon Princess is up for sale. The second one should go up on Saturday, the crouching one will go up on monday. I'm still working on the mold for the Big KOS, and the Sould grinder is still having its engine block worked on.

As for the fiend, I think the lower sets of breasts are too full and rounded -i feel like they should start at a D cup and progress down to a B, rather than all staying so large in size.

I thought about adding the words daemonette and Slaanesh to the entry but was worried about getting a C&D letter from GW.

Your right though I'd get allot more replies that way. So, I,ll probably do it anyway.

You might very well get a C&D if you do so, but I don't think they'll take any legal actions, a C&D is just a letter after all it's not an order of the court.

Slaanesh maybe, you can't for daemonette.

Like the look of your modified fiends a whole lot as well, I really dislike the droopy chests on the current models, if you are going to be Slaaneshi then do it right!

Just threw in my order for a DP, I am using two slaanesh Heralds from the WHFB chaos line now and she will make a great center piece.

Are you going to use the legs/tail/heads that come with the original models or sculpt them as well?

I will probably be sculpting some alternate heads, arms, and tails. I have the concept at that the Diaz-nettes and the FW keeper of secrets were based off. They never made the fiend model, but l want to have a few in the army anyway.

As always keep us updated, I finally got my Slaanesh Daemons (pure Slaanesh no counts as) in a game this afternoon and they performed well/it was tons of fun.

I like the idea of fiends being a bit more 'diazy' in the end.

On a related note the Daemon Princess from Sersi came in today. The model (as everyone knows) is phenomenal and the pieces fit together far better than any metal GW model I have had to work with. I can't wait to get it on the table!

With regards to modeling, I looked back at your pictures of the Princess and I think the wings may need a little reinforcement at their mounting point. Are you looking to do so with yours?

I was even toying with the idea of magnetizing them, but the model looks so much more badass with them on.

Great! I'm glad you like the model. Your right about the wings, the posts that hod them in place were metal in the original. They were square shaped brass rod. I'll see if I can get the size for you. I just drilled mine out and used clipped piano wire to pine them.


Be sure to post up some pics when you get her painted.

my daemon princess came in and got assembled today, this modal is amazing, like noted above the wings needed reenforcement, but that was an easy fix. thanks alot sersi, i will post pics when i get her painted.

As always, loving this continued project.... however, have still yet to see anything painted.....

Oh it'll all get painted eventually, having spent this long getting everything looking the way i want I not in any hurry to rush onto painting.

Any way I got a few updates to post tonight.

JK, the models look great, take your time when painting, just wanted to remind you if you'd forgotten.

Well this is was to test out a few things. The Daemon Princess #2's body is molded finally. Also I was testing out a tentacle head concept, which while incomplete seems to be working...yeah! And I had a plastic LOTR fell beast lying around, so I looked at the wing and said...hmmm...just about the right size. Here's the result.






































Anyway, everything else is still in progress...updates to follow!

Fantastic stuff, really like that tentacled head.

I'm gonna need 1 of these beauties and 1 of the first with a legend head.
The fell beast wings look good but I prefer the angel wings.
