For the price vs the almost no work of cleaning (same with FW, or less work even), I'm quite happy.

Im sure for 2-4$ per cast I can ask the caster to clean each piece, but this would also slow down production.

Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy with the piece, and for that matter it was one of the fastest items you all have gotten to me yet so that was a plus. Most of the excess could be pealed off on the servo arm, some of it needed some cleaning further. Killed about 40min, but I agree it does decrease the creation time and I am sure you all are getting hit with high demand. I guess from my precious experiences with your casts they were a little cleaner from the start, but I did get in on the base run of the item.

Yeah, we are actually sold out of pretty much all the new-releases but the gun halberds (getting there on those). Im asking the casters to ramp up production..

Just when I think I have a handle on how much supply I need for releases, the orders pour on in...

And here is the Wheeled Chimera Kit Assembled.

Your storm pelican's tail is on backwards (the top part). The flaps go on the trailing edge not the leading. Moreover the tail should match the wings with the flat side towards the front not the angled.

wow those wheeled chimeras are top notch.

The actual chimera turret looks out of place on it. I think a Predator turret would be ace

Chimera looks great with the heavy bolter spot moved forward so the front is all flush. Always kind of bugged me how GW has it pushed back normally.

I think you need to look a little more closely at those photos.

The second photo does make it look like the front is a single panel, but it's just the angle. Look at the top photo...

The truscale kit for the Stormraven is such a night and day addition. Without your kit Chapterhouse I would never in a million years consider buying that piece of crap Stormraven model. Now, I'm preying they put it in the next Dark Angels Codex they make.

Your wheeled APC kit is great too. Keep up the good work.

Same here. I had resigned myself to the fact that I'd never get the Chibi-Hawk because it looks so stupid. Then this kit comes along and I ordered two (before the embargo kicked in, luckily enough!). It looks great. Amazing what adding some length to the hull can do for that kit.

I spent a while trying to find a way to say that so that it wasn't "It's amazing what adding a few inches to the length will do?".

But see, if GW did add any more length to the kit, it probably would have made the kit even more stupidly expensive (probably about $80-90 since it would have required an extra sprue), and everyone would have bitched about that instead, refusing to buy it on principle.

I agree though, I think it looks better with the conversion kit, but personally I think GW would have lost that battle either way. Of course it's their own fault for insisting that the model be sold for ludicrous prices in the first place, but still.

The sci-fi Asians are Triad faction, produced by Urban Mammoth, for the Urban War/Metropolis game ( a decendant of Void). The range is worth looking at for sure, I mix quite a few figures in with GW.

I'm really looking forward to working on the wheeled Chimeras, should have some waiting for me when I get home from NYC in two weeks.

I think I like that underslung look much more than the 'huge weapon protruding on an arm over the shoulder' look.
