As you have access to miniatures please do us a favour and perform a small experiment.
Take a miniature you haven't finished painting, basecoat plus rough single coat, and bend it a couple of times, show us what happens.
Will a peice of sprue do? :p
I diont know it came on sprues, yes perfect. I would have said sprue if I knew.
in which case bend it a little like a miniature might be, then go to town on it and test to destruction, incrementing how badly you mistreat it and observing results at each stage. That of itself doesn't indicate failure when it happens, we expect it to be wrecked at some point, but if you have to give up without any serious damage I will be VERY impressed.
A short video could be good if thats no problem. Though if the product is that good talk to Dave and get him to try to snap one of his painted tanks on a Beasts of War podcast, it would be excellent copy if the tank stands up to much.
Heres a series of pics from todays messing about with painted sprue, results were suprising!;
Spoiler:
Hawk wargames sprue sprayed black
First bend, no paint damage
Added some colour, and a veriety of thicknesses of paint in different places
Bending commences! No paint damage, though I do accidently break the unpainted part of it
Twisted and bent around again, still no paint damage.
Re-straightened out, paint seems fine, even the line highlight on the edge.
Finally the peice breaks as I turn it into a corkscrew, still no paint damage though!
I dont know what this stuff is, but it makes me physically angry as GW for finecast, if the price is anything like GWs then I may have to punch a baby.
Thanks, that was what I was after. You seem to be on the inside to some degeree. You should show Dave lewis this and get him to do an official resilience test on a podcast. It would really help him.
Showing up Finecast for the crap it is is a nice secondary benefit.
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

In case their website overloads can someone dump the details of the pricing and the special deals here on the thread.

Doom it's the 9th and now there's nothing up. Slightly frustrated but I guess these things happen.
I'm going to go to bed and sulk now
We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

Ah well. Was hopeful after the extra week they`d have it sorted. Shame i think, few people talking about not buying into it now. Some things cant be helped but they had a week and all day to be fair. Can only imagine the nightmare ordering will be and whether people will get the models.
Just my opinion but could be costing themselves here

To first not meet initial start date to expand a week and still not achieve what you set out to do no matter what reflects badly on the company. Some people have actually been waiting all day and yet nothing. A lot of enthusiam is gone in my eyes. Even the FB page is dropping likes.
Poor planning and the twitter comment of almost being done then no more is, well....
And yes I know folk will say but this and but that and this that and the next thing but it is poor planning

Umm... I think the whole point is they want ordering to be problem free as they can. Whaiting and getting it right, should mean no nightmare while ordering, don't get why people think it would be the other way around.
They could go the other way (like some company). Then we no nothing about it and likely never heard there name. I like transparent companys that keep people informed over not even seeing the models pics at all.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

hopefully we will get a timeframe update soon, but I agree the site not opening today will not in my opinion spell doom for the game that is just silly, those of us who want it still want it.
