Just realized it's over a month since I last posted something, so I think it's time for an update.

Unfortunately I still haven't finished the Mechanicus knight, which will get done at some point, just not sure when.

In the meantime I've been repairing and reworking my old dwarf statue sculpt, as well as exploring the possibility of having it recast in resin.
There's still a lot of work to do before it's ready, but here's the current work in progress.

@Theophony: Yeah I like the sound of that, and I am planning on building several terrain piece's once their cast.
Also, I've always wanted to play around with some of that clear resin water effects stuff .

Work on the Knight continues, as I've just been finishing off a new shoulder pad for the Knights gun arm.

Never been too keen on the Knights standard shoulder pad design, so I decided to build my own.
It's still a WIP, and might need a few more rivets, but I'm quite pleased with it so far.

Hey excellent work here. is there any chance of elaborating a bit on how you did the shoulderpad specifically how you went from the stepped to smooth look from the first to second pic as I really want to make some Kastelan shoulderpads for my mate who despises how they look without them.

U.K.

Just came across this. Amazing stuff, love the conversions. Can I ask, do you have any tutorials on your plasticard work? Things like the cogs and so on?

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't have any proper tutorials, although it is something I've always wanted to do, I just haven't got around to it yet.

I'm also taking a small break from the hobby at the moment, while I work on other things. But I'm sure I'll be back at some point, probably some time in the new year .
