Does anyone know if the hive mind at AB40k.org are working on an 8th update for Army Builder? I have had a look around their forum but it seems so damn arcane and abstruse to navigate (at least to me, anyway). I can't see any announcement on whether it is coming or not. I assume they are still under the embargo from GW not to release files until after 1 month? Seems a bit redundant given that Battlescribe is already up and running with 8th. And before anyone says it, I prefer Army Builder to Battlescribe because of the output format.

I find it funny that GW seem to pick and choose who gets to make money using their rules. Army Bulder and Battlescribe are ok, the Web Roster wasn't?

Unfortunately the 1 month embargo is in effect. Either use battlescribe or use power levels.

Well, it is scattergun at best. The web roster infringed due to the images used, I believe. I think if the guy took the offending images down, it would be fine. In the case of Army Builder and Battlescribe, both do pretty much exactly the same thing and in functionally the same way, yet AB has to wait one month before publishing files whereas Battlescribe can publish day one. Seems odd to me...
