Hey guys, so I was looking for some necromunda terrain, and I found the following website: https://ttcombat.com. has anyone bought any of the terrain or other objects from here? We're you pleased with quality? Is it legitimate? Did it show up on time?

My cousin bought some of their wild west styled buildings for his Wild West Exodus games, and was really impressed.
He passed on a few extras to me which made shipping containers and walls, and they seem perfectly solid, good fits, no miscuts or anything.

Hey ive got some of the dark city buildings for the walking dead game and i cant recommend them enough. Look amazing and make the board stand out. The price point is great too.
I would give these 10 out of 10 for price and quality. Hope that helps.

Basic and very competitively priced. I have bought quite a few of them and happy with them.

I think the ones I have are great and would highly recommend. My only issue is that I haven't dared paint them - I am worried that the paint will slop over and obscure the laser cut detail.

I like them too. The terrain looks surprisingly good for MDF. Just don't expect it to look as good as GW plastics or other top scenery!

I have a few of their gothic pieces, I'm quite happy with them, and I also haven't painted them yet, for fear of obscuring laser lines...

I recently bought the Industrial Hive 3 set. Very pleased with how it looks and feels (not so much about how it smells :p).
Building it is super easy, painting them is more work than plastic kits tho. TTC combat sent me the following instructions (via facebook):
1. Seal the wood! MDF drinks up paint, so sealing it first will help to save you money. We sell an MDF sealer specially formulated for painting onto our kits, but you can use thinned down PVA glue (although it does make the wood swell up which may impede your modularity!). Simply paint or spray it over the kit.
2. Undercoat the wood with several thin passes of spray paint. Like I said, the wood can suck up a lot of paint, so a few thin dustings of undercoat work better and will use less paint.
3. Paint it with whatever acrylic paint you want! We use a lot of Vallejo, Citadel, and Army Painter, but whatever your favourite is will work fine. Cheaper acrylic paints (ones not made for miniatures) will work too, but might take a couple more coats because they have less pigment.
4. A light coat of spray varnish over the top when you're done. MDF won't chip the paint unless you chuck the pieces around, but considering how modular the Industrial Hive sets are, it's always worth varnishing.
There you go! Hope that helps and you'll be playing games in your hive soon!

I've got: The abandoned apartment, the comic book store, the cargo boat, the construction office, most of the back alley accessory kits and the large crates.
The other MDF stuff for buildings are really simple ww2 style buildings that are cut so well (and because of the simple design) that I haven't had to glue them, which made me a bit spoiled for TTcombat buildings because you do have to glue them. The TTcombat buildings are pretty fine and you can still separate them by the floor but you probably won't be able to flat pack them away between games so you'll need space for them. They are essentially boxes though so you can fill them with smaller pieces of terrain to double down on storage. Mine are packed with an aegis defence line and loads of cargo crates.
The back alley resin bits are really good for adding in little details, Necromunda could benefit from some of them for added squalor.
The crates with the card that go over them could be good too, I didn't spray mine yet but they do look really good. Of course there are a lot of mdf cargo crates available.
I haven't had any loss of laser cut detail during painting so far, and I really slapped the layers onto the abandoned building. Oh and the scale on a couple of their kits feels a little inconsistent I've only really noticed this on the construction office which is a little large for 28mm.
As for being legit, I think I bought all my stuff via an ebay shop so if you are worried about getting your stuff you could go through there.
The pink building is the abandoned apartment building, the one with the black and white tiles is the lower segment of the comic store, you might see some scattered alley stuff too.
And there is the construction office, you can still see the laser cut lines on it after it got a few layers of paint on it.

I'll be placing a rather large order soon and will let you know how the quality is - though I've heard good things.
I can suggest heavily that you use a thick and quality primer if you're going to try to hand paint the buildings. They really excel at simply being painted/dusted with coloured primers --- stuff like Army Painter can often cover it in one go and doesn't obscure detail.
I often spray the stuff while it's on sprue but you can have some issues with fitment and may need to trim down tabs if you do this.
The hardest thing you can do is try to hand-paint them with craft paint from a hobby store. This will take ages and will risk gunking up the detail.
