You know, I thought it was just me. I'm unable to get on the Dakka server, but the other multiplayer servers work just fine.

EDIT: Scratch that. I restarted my computer and all works now.

Sure if you have the glowstone By all means, my resources are stretched pretty thin at the moment need to get to the nether and mine a lot of glowstone, as well as get some diamond for a enchanting table. And so I can get some obsidian for the doors... A lot to do, and I've already used 4 double chests worth of sandstone

What about using sideways jack-o-lanterns? Something that'd look a bit different than the ever-present Glowstone, and if it was inset, you wouldn't even see the face!

True, though they're amongst the few things the Enders can pick up still. Likely just a minor annoyance really.

Which fun enough is just grass, dirt, sand, gravel, flowers, mushrooms, TNT, cactus, clay, pumpkin, jack-o-lantern, melon and mycelium now.

Whoever cleaned out the netherwart farm next to my portal at least don't be a jerk and replant.

This tunnel also appears to be somewhat annoying.

Yeah, some ground rules should be necessary for polite people:

If you harvest a melon/pumpkin farm, re-till the soil.
If you harvest wheat, replant the wheat.
If you harvest netherwart, replant it.
If you harvest mushrooms, leave one of each kind to regrow

Problem being there seems to be plenty of impolite people.

That netherwart was for setting up some healing stations (dispensors can shoot splash potions) in the nether.

The nether tunnel can be moved down one or two if needed and the netherwart was also me, I meant to replant but my pc died and I may have forgotten...

I'll replant now if it hasn't been done already.

I already replanted a bit of it. One block lower would be perfect as the way it is now the tunnel needs to go up one to go over it.

Can I grab some of that netherwart to start my own farm? I'll replant when I do, it drops 2-4 I think when you harvest it at full growth...

I need to mine more cobble to start building a tunnel to meet the track in the nether... just not sure where I should build to...

Feel free to, there's a few farms starting up anyway.

If none have grown come visit and I'll just give you some of the ones I have in storage for potion making.

I got 5-6 from a fully grown netherwart last night, it was insane given how quickly they grow when lava is flowing near them.

Once the rail is sorted out I'll add the lava into mine, but until then it will just be torches to avoid the annoyance.

Just checked the wiki, apparently it's fire not lava that speeds up growth yet abso's lava seems to do the job pretty well.

Hey guys has anyone found a nether fortress thing yet ?

I can confirm that lava doesn't help netherwart growth, however lots of light and having fire near it does help.

I think someone said three had been found.

I just found a big underground complex with lots of planks, fence posts made as a stack up, not fences, and a single train track every few blocks.

No, it did work.

What I meant was own up and get a warning or make me investigate and get banned. They owned up and have promised to repair the damage. They got a warning.

The previous person I made this offer to did not own up and got banned.

I have not, no. I was thinking that I could make a nether portal, but I forgot obsidian. So I'm chilling in my shroom house.
