@Not Online, thank you sir! I have never done commission work, but these and the rest of the black legion I am painting for a friend. Tried to finish the lot last night but the belled tolled at midnight and I went to bed. Hope to get some pics up soon of them finished.

The gas mask guys are my favorites of the bunch. I look forward to seeing them all based and charging forward in one big, heretical mass.

Since I have been painting for others I started a Redemptor Dread for my growing Ultramarine army.

Nice start Yorkright. You should up-highlight the crap out of that with your AB.

Ultramarines are just the boring version of chaos. You can tell because every time they get a new codex the system goes into chaos as they release version 40K.36

@Gitz I would do that but I am trying to match the paint scheme I have with the rest of the army. Plus I have so much painted now that I am too lazy to go back and do it again.

@Theo LOL well it seems that the latest marine book has thrown the 40k community into a tizzy. I have not played against the IH or Salamanders but the rules make them seem OP.

I know that feeling with my grots . On a more serious note: don't have a chaos army to put the cultists in; my Night Lords haven't been updated since 2nd ed. 40K, so they'll jus tlinge rina box for now :(

Not a huge fan of ultrasmurfs, but you did a nice job on them.

So here is the finished Redemptor Dread. He is not my best work but for tabletop I think he turned out fine. For a bonus her is a picture of all the Primaris Smurfs so far. Some I traded for so I had to paint up the rest close to the same color scheme. Going to try out the new Dread tomorrow night.

Group photos are what it's all about. Sweet looking Ultras.

@Gitz I know I should have gone to town on him, I did do some airbrushing for the base coat and tried to work it up but he looked odd when sitting next to the rest of the army.
@Online, I know those Imperial armies would look so much better with spikes. ;-)

The other 4 horseman will have to wait . All the gold trim has been a bear to paint but it’s coming along. Blocked in some more colors and gave it a wash of nuln oil. Going to set him aside till tomorrow night. Here is a couple of WIP as the wash dries. Thanks for looking.

Coming out pretty cool. Going to be an impressive beast. A group of four with converted riders either in a 4 Chaos gods theme or the original War, Famine, Pestilence, Death group could be pretty awesome.

Disco Lord is coming along nicely. I think you should do a LED disco base on him to use during games .
