Yea I'd rather have contemptors back, but I'm happy for those titan players.

The thing that jumped out to me is that warlords can one-round kill each other. $2000+, months of work, and it lasts a shooting phase. Such fun!

Creating the datasheets doesn't actually bother me. Working out the top end of a system is actually useful from a game design perspective.
Putting most of these on the table seems like a waste of time, though.

The thing that raised my eye-brow, is the manta has a capacity of 200 troops OR drone models. Drone models, which are now wargear, or not I guess?

It does specify Tactical Drones, so perhaps you can still field those as a unit?

Yes, I expect there will be a drone unit, but drones attached to other units are just markers.

100 Wounds is actually a bit of a downgrade on the Warlord, didn't they used to have 150? Nice to see Voids are finally useful again, and that Macro Gatling profile is rather nasty.

They can do that in 9th edition as well. And 8th. And Adeptus Titanicus. Not frequently, but doable.

And a quick start guide (reference sheets -phases, USRs, strats). Quite useful.

I think the Titans could have had an extra page of rules, given the amount of space freed up in the other options.

A few of their own strats, something specific that they can do and then data cards for the different sections of the Titan. Have them be more of a collection of units grouped together than one massive damage sponge, whilst also letting the opponent interact with it a bit more by targetting head/legs/guns etc.

IIRC all of these (as well as many file names for graphics etc.) are randomized intentionally, to prevent people from guessing stuff and spoiling their planned reveals. It happened before

Yeah chances are for a smooth release and for a company GW's size they can likely get bunches of stuff like that uploaded in advance. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the articles we see appear through the week are actually written and uploaded on one day and then they simply enable them to appear on set days.

Quick 10 minute glance at the rules seems.....okay in terms of nothing being overcomplicated. No in depth read though as I obviously have to go to work.

The base rules are usually pretty straight-forward (It's really good they show visual examples of the "proper amount"* of terrain, BTW). It's in the unit datasheets where things tend to go off the rails.

* Visual is nice, but explaining why/how to achieve the "proper amount" would be even more appreciated.

Dunno. Being able to stop 8 hits quaranteed(average more like 12 assuming no dam1-2 shot which increases) shots seemed usable. And more accurate to lore than this which ignores decades long background.

It's the same amount he's "worth" in 9th.

Nurgle demon prince looks good.

Typhus looks pretty good also. Unit cards are on deathguard reddit.

I have no idea how to post pics.

Demon prince with wings, has a different set of buffs.

Mentioned on stream: Daemon Princes and Daemon Princes with wings are different sheets with different abilities. One is a beat stick, the other is a support ability provider.

Anything with lascannons/entropy cannons, anything that drops mortals and mass lethal hits and possibly princes/mortarion/drones depending what they look like for a melee profile.

Hm entropy cannon has only S10. Morty sure. Prince has only S8. So the only ranged option is LR, predator and defiler?

It seem pretty much everything in DG has lethal hits, so weight of dice should work on knights.

It's not about strength so much as ap/damage. It's supposed to be unusual to get past S10, you need to change the mindset here. You also missed helbrute.
