FGAP01 - Ghost Archipelago Crewmen
There is no shortage of trained seamen who will happily sign-on to a Heritor’s expedition to the Ghost Archipelago. The lure of wealth and adventure make it a much more desirable billet than working on a merchantman, and, compared to piracy, it is a legal, if no less dangerous, occupation. More difficult to recruit are the specialist fighters whose skills may prove vital when exploring the Lost Isles. These men and women require large retainers and demand their own cabins when they can be convinced to join an expedition.

Twenty plastic crewmen for Ghost Archipelago.

Each plastic frame has multiple weapon choices for you to design unique crew to accompany your Heritor and Warden into the Ghost Archipelago.

28mm sized plastic figures, unpainted and require assembly using glue.

I find the snake men oddly appealing, and the crew very useful.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

The crew are actually excellent. I ordered a frame of them off ebay to check out, and with a bit of conversion work to add height they'll be ending up in an Arabyan Corsairs warband for Mordheim.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Indeed!

Always a good day when I can post that one!

I'm not that impressed with them, but more Lizardmen is a good thing...

Some fantastic looking plastic kits coming out for Frostgrave. In between these and the Oathmark/North star new kits we are being positively spoiled for fantasy kits.

Like the idea of using some of these for the the forthcoming Fabled Realms and of course would be great for Mordheim

I prefer snakemen with tails rather than legs. They are nice but not really what I am after.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Reaper makes some good legless "snakemen" that I may use for my game. No disrespect to these figures, they are nice lizard men, but not what I pictured when I read "snakemen" in the bestiary of the Ghost Archipelagoes rulebook.

Multi-part plastic snakemen seems like a pretty unusual sort of kit, really. It's a tempting box just for that.

I wish their arms were long and lanky like their legs. The arms in the snake guy with crossbow look way too short, but the close combat guys' arms look better.

Either way, I'll likely get a box just because of how out there they are. I wish they were dressed in robes like the ones in the REH Kull novels... But it shouldn't be too hard to Green stuff some in robes.

Legs are separate, so I guess green stuff might be possible, or some 3rd part resin.

Cool slave/servant snakemen are cool. Even better with some snaken elvish ladies army right around the corner.

Yep, the paintjob helps. I'd say they're not super ideal in my aesthetic opinion, but I may grab some. I do prefer ones with tails instead of legs. But if they're like the other Northstar plastics they'll be a good set to go nuts with.

Because of the breakdown of the figures on the sprue, how hard would it really be to convert snake men with a snake tail instead of two legs?

Well, here's the sprue. Heads and tails look like easy swaps, or at least compared to one-piece figures?
