I never actually thought of that. I try to bury the corpses if I have a chance, but sometimes they just disappear.

Huh, I'm sure it wasn't supposed to be that effective. It appears to be regenerating your body based on your genetic sequence. And body parts that have been removed or destroyed, whether by blade, fire, chemical or otherwise, should regenerate.

It appears to be purging your body of pollutants as well.

I su-suspect it had something to do with swallowing the t-teeth and part of my tongue during the disciplinary. Thankfully I'm vegetarian or this could have been far worse. [Looks up] Yes, I am. Yes it's ironic th-that I butcher people for a living.

Wait, regeneration of all the th-things? Verviedi, what happens to p-people with three kidneys and two livers?

[Panics] There's also the fact that I'm only this amiable (and impulsive) due to being h-hit in the skull by tank g-gun recoil far too many times.

The replacements could easily be removed after it has done it's job. And it is engineered to ignore the brain, as regeneration of brain tissue could result in loss of memory or cognitive function.
