*Lady Deadpool is reading a Captain America comic book while laying across a couch*

[Sam smiles] I'm glad. I hope you feel better quickly... Nothing I cast at that thing slowed it down.
Was it stopped, do you know? I'm fairly worried because I haven't seen some of the people who ran towards it since that day... but I don't come indoors much.
I don't even know if the mage Benny called "Perron" was okay from being shot. Or the bird people... [Goes suddenly quiet at his shame of not having any idea]

[Yarrick steers smoothly towards the less icy mountains] You and I both know it's hard to process emotions after all the schola training.
I got married, Nick. All those people paying attention and being social, making small talk and celebrating our love. Could you even picture yourself using the words "our love" this time last week?
[Ramps at speed over a small hill, and stops Nick's bottle from spilling]

*Blinks*
PERRON WAS SHOT?!
*Gets dressed really fething quickly, somehow finding clothes, and runs right past Sam*
*Legs it to Perron's office*

*Maiev blinks up to Kara and takes up her body*
M: Elune no! Please Kara, hold on!
*Looks around at the kitties*
M: You will all pay!
*Blinks Kara around the forest until they find a small pond*
*Lays her in the pond, and rips off some of her clothes to cover the wound*
M: Kara...

*Amelia waves back, then wanders over to Scatty*
Amy: You wanted to see me?

Considering Denny sorta ruined that for me; no. I know what you mean though, Yarrick. Getting smashed and blowing gak up is the only way I can cope right now.

*The Catlords exchange several glances and cry out in unison as the pair blinks away*
Catlords: ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE! AND THE STRONG SHALL LEAD US TO VICTORY!
*They begin walking away not bothering to pick up their dead.*


*Scatty sighs and goes slightly red*
Scatty: Well... about what we talked about a little bit ago... Did you... think of anyone in particular?
*She looks embarrassed about asking and even moreso with her sister right next to her. Aoife's face is blank as she waits for Amy to speak*

*Jake walks up to Sam, watching Denny go with worried eyes.*

Jake to Sam: Was it the creature in the forest who shot Perron? Oh I cry pardon for not introducing myself, I am Jake of New York.

*Extends hand.*

Jake: And you are?

*Kara's breathing is faint as the makeshift bandages get soaked in blood*




*Lady Deadpool starts drawing hearts around Cappie on every slide he shows up on*

LP: Wanda Wilson America... Mm...

[Sam looks at Jake in confusion] Is it always this crazy?

[Shrugs] ...Consider yourself lucky. The only time I've seen a woman naked prior to this, she was birthing a child.

[Takes hand and smiles, trying not to flinch] Im Samuel, I'm Yarrick's brother. I was born here in the mountains. [His hand is pleasantly cool but not clammy]

[Perron looks up from being curled on armchair]
...I'm closed for business.

*Enters anyway, and closes the door*
*Picks Perron up and hugs him*
Jesus...Sam just told me you were shot!

Amy: The closest I got was Santiago...But he's taken...Hmm...
*Thinks, blinks, then smiles*
Amy: Or Sam. He's Sebastian in almost every way. You'll just need to teach him how to fight properly. But he'll end up being more skilled than me.

*Maiev is really fething panicking*
*Submerges the wound in the water, and speaks softly*
M: Elune, my Goddess of the Moon, I call upon you to save my beloved. I beg of you to save her...Please...Min'da...
*Lets her tears drip into the water, which then glows fluorescent, to Maiev's surprise*
*Water very slowly starts healing Kara, which Maiev does not know*

*Jake nervously laughs.*

Jake: Yeah Denny... is really pretty!

*Shakes Sams hand.*

Jake: Well met Samuel! I didn't know Yarrick had a brother... and yeah it gets alittle crazy around here!

*Scatty nods slowly*
Scatty: Okay... but umm... no offense, but I really don't find Yarrick... attractive in any way shape or form....
*Looks apologetic*

*Kara's eyes flutter open and she gasps as the magic does its work*

K: Kadan...

*Kara reaches out and weakly touches Maiev's face before her eyes close again but her breathing is healthier than before*

Amy: Sam's cuter. And less scars. But I can give it more thought...

Amy: But tell me, would you go out with Santiago if he wasn't taken?

*Maiev takes Kara's hand and openly cries over her*

*Sits in the water beside Kara and continues crying in both fear and joy*

*Scatty's color deepens as she recalls the lakeside scene*
Scatty: Umm.... yeah maybe...
*Aoife smiles knowingly*

Amy: Hmm...I'll keep that in mind...Guess I have to think of people like Santiago then...
*Sits back down onto the couch and starts thinking of people who Scatty could feth*

[Tiny Perron is picked up in a blanket and embarrassed] [Squeaks involuntarily]
...I was, that thing would have hit us both, but as was, I threw him clear. There was only enough of me left to reform to this size. [Looks embarrassed]

What about you?! You were fething turned into a bagel!


[Yarrick skids the baneblade to a halt facing a mountain, and puts feet on the dash] ...It took me nearly a year to get used to people seeing me as anything other than Commissar.
I felt stupid. Like everyone was being patient and kind to me whilst I got soft.
[Gets up and hefts a few shells into the gun] [Smiles at the weight]

*Kara nods once and looks relatively peaceful, all things considered*

K: I kicked his ass, didn't I?



*Lady Deadpool pockets the comic and pulls a passing Dogpool onto her lap before falling asleep with him*

*Scatty nods again*
Scatty: Yeah... okay... Thanks Amy.
*Smiles genuinely as Aoife rolls her eyes and chuckles*

I was...But Cal healed me the best he could. I'm still recovering from it though.
*Hugs Perron again*
I'm sorry you got hurt P...

*Maiev sniffs, smiles and nods*
M: Yeah, you did Kara...
*Strokes her face, then lies down beside Kara in the warming water, without bothering about clothes*
*Still crying*

*Amelia nods, then looks over to Aoife*
Amy: What about you? You need some relationship advice from Matchmaker Amy?

*Leo lays on a sofa and looks at LadyPool*

Leo: (Oh gak!)

*Leo looks away and gets off the couch*

*Scatty laughs as Aoife looks awkward from being put on the spot*
Aoife: Uh... I don't know. I don't know if I'm really looking for anyone...

*Commissar leaned back in the tank*

*Commissar scanned the area and saw a small slip of paper, plucking it and starting to open it*

Hm? What's this, old note from Amy?

*Amelia looks at Leo before she leaves*

*Looks back at Aoife*
Amy: Well, be quick girl. You looking or not?

[Perron squeaks again] I'm sorry you've had to see me as an actual daemon... [Puts one pair of arms over face]
[Sighs] I wanted so badly to avoid anything like this. But I guess it's honest at least.

I should regrow if I can find some pleasant feelings, or rest up.

[Yarrick is too far back to see what Hunter is doing] I know you felt exactly the same.
I'm just saying how long it took me to get accustomed, and I'm no way near... it was a million times worse when-
[Hunter finds the violet words on the paper make his eyes hurt, and he cannot look at them directly]
Fire the gun already!

*Shakes head and hugs Perron again*

*Pulls away from the hug*

*Leo starts walking towards Amy Aoife and Scatty*

Leo: What's up?

Amy:Nothing. I'm just lonely because Sebastian is out in his tank...And he didn't even tell me...
*Sighs*
Amy: Sit with me?

[Perron makes a noise like a clown shoe] You're amazing people, Denny.
And pleasant feelings like people enjoying themselves, happiness, close proximity or taking part in, err... making love.
But those feelings are a hide and seek here lately. Hell, Nick was too sad to even make fun of me earlier.

*Aoife hems and haws then finally sighs*
Aoife: Sure... why not. Work your magic oh matchmaker.
*Her tone is incredibly sarcastic and Scatty elbows her*
Scatty: Oh stop being so crabby.
*She smiles at Leo*
Scatty: Hey Leo. How're you?
*Aoife frowns*
Aoife: Lonely? What are we, Nahair droppings?
