You need to work out some boundaries between you and Leo. She is in need of something more than you can give her in terms of dedication, and if she starts feeling more attached to you, it's going to hurt both of you at some point.

[Sam returns to find Benny sat on the step of his cabin with a massive grin]

[Sam looks exasperated] Benny! [Takes Benny's hat and smacks him with it a few times] Shoo!

[Benny giggles] Never! Tell me everything!

[Sam sighs and sits down next to him] You're a pest. [Leans on Benny] We went for diner, and he told me about himself, and I told him about me, and he was really interesting... And the troopers kept teasing him but he didn't shout at them...

[Benny grins] Aaaand?
[Sam tuts] ...And I kissed him good night.
[Benny does a mini-clap in excitement] Oooh! What was it like?

[Sam blushes] Very sweet. And he got all flustered. He tasted like cinnamon and whiskey.. [Giggles at Benny's rapt attention]
Now go to bed!

[Benny nods and runs off home] [Stops to wave back at Sam]
[Sam laughs and waves back before heading indoors himself]


[Commissar BC is sat in the bar looking slightly dreamy-faced] [Several troopers are taking bets on how long it'll take for him to come-round from the daze] [The rest are just cheerful that he's in a good mood]

*looks over at Drone Man*

You think that talking is gonna work? Look at her track record, Drone Man. Whips and knives are fun for her, talking ain't gonna get you what ya want.


*Santiago sleepily puts an arm around Joalia and watches TV with her*

[Picks up a sofa cushion and throws it very neatly at Verdai]

You shouldn't touch girls who don't want you to.

*Kisha looks genuinely terrified*

*She simply allows him to connect the wires and she tries not to cower away in genuine fear*

*Kisha cowers over in pain from the shocks and begins crying softly*
*She covers her face in distress and anxiety while wishing for death*
Kisha: You should probably do me a favor and kill me.

[Benny scowls and runs over] Verdai! You're being unpleasant to someone who's scared of you.

[Benny growls] You will, because I'll keep telling you that you did it. You're abusing your position.

*Kisha looks up and sees Benny*
Kisha: I-It's Ok.. I deserve it.
*Kisha smiles and looks completely unlike herself at all*
*She looks up at V*
Kisha: I don't want to be here anymore...
*Kisha looks utterly terrified and her Kagune comes out in defense mode simply from her fear*
Kisha: no..
*She forces her Kagune to be put away*
Kisha: I won't be Ok after this. So kill me.

[Benny looks incredibly angry] You feeling worthless doesn't mean he shouldn't know better! [Points at Verdai]

[Steps to Kisha] ...And you're not worthless. [Shakes head] You're sad, or you made decisions you regret... That doesn't mean you don't have value.

*Kisha looks amused*
Kisha: no I won't forget. Kill me now while you have the chance.
*Kisha smiles slightly at Benny*
Kisha: You and the other humans will be safer. There is nothing for ghouls here.

*Kisha makes the empty threat and is overcome with fear*
