It's subject poll time again! As always, 2 days to pick the topic for July's round, with the runner up option getting another go round in the next vote. For July, your options are:

Mind Over Matter: Knowledge is power. Whether the mind of a wizard turned to sheer arcane destruction, the strategic acumen of a great commander or the creative genius of a master artisan, battles are often decided by those possessed of great intelligence or wisdom. Your entry should feature such individuals.

Wild World: From alien horrors to wild beasts to powerful druids commanding elemental forces, the natural world is often every bit as fearsome as that of technology. Your entry should be themed around nature, the elements, wild creatures and so forth.

A Helping Hand: Not every individual proves their worth on the battlefield through tactical genius or strength of arms. Many armies are nothing without their supporting forces, many great warriors nothing without those who inspire, aid and protect them. Your entry should feature individuals notable for their capacity to support rather than their direct martial prowess.

I Can Do This All Day: For many fighters, battle is a contest of endurance, with those who can withstand an onslaught longest emerging triumphant. Whether through sheer physicality, hgh-tech armour or magical fortitude, your entry should feature models who can take all the enemy can throw at them and remain standing.

Picked Wild World, because I'm in the mood to dry brush some fur (not that I wouldn't for the others). That said, only one I'd really have to work to find something for is I Can Do This All Day

Just put together a new librarian, and I think I’ve got more farseers to paint.

I have 2 pilot themed entries ready for paint so I'm thinking helping hand.. But I guess mind over matter or all day might work too.

I need to get an inquisitors and retinue done in the next month or two so went with mind over matter to get me going on the main man in the group. Could easily fit some retinue members to any of the others though

I went for wild world as I have some space wolf stuff that will fit nicely.
Mind over matter would be great too though, as I have farseers and a rune priest that need painting too...

I chose "I can do this all day"

Very general and I can fit almost anything in.

Wild world caught my eye as I have alien types from a couple of game systems to paint

I've placed an order for some dark elf cold ones and have a plan in place to make some exodites so Wild World got me!

Wild world would be the hardest for me to stretch to find something. Whatever it ended up being, it would just be a painting project. I do have a dozen angry tree dryads that would fit well though. Or a Zoat, but that’s more of a stretch. I think the idea is more primal alien horrors, not one with guns.

This might be a tough one for me depending on what wins. I think I could figure something out for any of them though.
Mind Over Matter: I've got tons of characters that would fit this.
Wild World: Fenrisian Wolves
Helping Hand: Techmarine, Deathwing Apothecary
I Can Do This All Day: Lord of Contagion, Plagueburst Crawler, Redemptor Dreadnought

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

Has there ever been the consideration of revisiting themes from years ago? Some of us have only been participating for a year or less.

I'd like to try and avoid exact repeats, though fairly often the same sort of stuff comes up. There are only so many ideas to go round, so general concepts tend to come up fairly often even if the titles are different. I do occasionally pull unused theme from past subject polls though, and give them another go.
