So... I'm at my parents' (I "moved" here last week in order to help them, they are elderly with previous health issues so I don't want them to move, like, at all, from where it's safe) and... things here look pretty grim. We reached 9.700 cases and more than a thousand dead this morning here in Madrid, and it looks like the worst is yet to come.

So, being locked up, at my parents', with no access to my printers and a need to take my mind away from other stuff, I've started to paint things that I still have here or that I brought to assemble. This weekend I've done the following:

Five Eschers made with Shieldwolf Miniatures' shieldmaidens and some bits:

A unit of IW Tyrant Siege Terminator for my loyal detachment:

And a unit of Primaris Infiltrators (I have the other three at home, so won't be able to do those in a while)for my IW successor chapter:

The idea of those was to use the same scheme I'm using for the rest, but a more muted and "stealthy" variant:

They look great.

More to the point, stay safe. I hope you and your family are okay, and get through this unscathed.

Thanks, you too! Take care, because this is going to take a while.

Well, with this I've finished all the 30k stuff I have on hand:

Firstly a captain, (very slightly) modded from the plastic Kurtha Sedd:

And then the leftovers, mainly vexilla bearers and squad sergeants. I've added a modicum of blood effects to these ones:

Today I've tested a scheme for the Underworlds darkoath band, mostly contrasts with some metals:

I am for sure stealing the shieldmaiden escher conversion for myself. Did you just use the plastic kit of shieldmaidens? Also was it a hard conversion? I have never actually attempted a kitbash like this before.

Yep, those are plastic shieldmaidens, and it was really easy. You might need a tiny dollop of greenstuff for the neck when using escher heads, but other than that, mostly just gluing arms.

So, finished the Darkoath raiders:

I also tested the Contrast treatment on a couple of Infinity Haqqislam minis:

The Warcry gang in mainly contrast paints look really fantastic. Those models seem to really "fit" the contrast line, and your execution is great.

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

Some Epic ork boyz:

Also, painted my very first titan ever!

I ended up choosing Gryphonica because it's the only legio I've found called by name being in action alongside with loyalist IW detachments:

Spoiler:

I'm still confined at my parent's (came here at the start to be able to help them out), so decals and weathering will have to wait >_>

I really like the paint scheme on your gellerpox walkers. Also quite keen on the heresy era iron warriors. Also don't mind all my lower case lettering, as your pictures are so titanic that the quick response box makes my words look like they're freehand scribbles on a purity seal.
