Hello! I’m doing a Basilisk kitbash at the moment, and it’ll leave me with a turretless, and rear section-less, Chimera. Any ideas on what I can do with this?

You could make a Salamander. It's pretty much what you describe, unless i'm misinterpreting something.

IDK if it has rules in 8th anymore or if those rules are worth using, but hey. It would look cool.

Another fun project might be a scylla tankette:

Alternatively you could try and make a Griffon Mortar:

There are various 3rd party conversion kits that just need the chassis to.turn back into a full chimera.

Models and Minis (from the US) also produce some nice kits for what Flinty describes

An Imperial Guard Mortar Team, a piece of plastic card and you can make a Griffon Mortar.

This is a regular old style Griffon, but you get the idea.
