I did one of these for 40k, so thought I would do one here too for a bit of extra fun!
So, what are your guys' favourite models from the AoS/WHFB line? Can be if you just like their model or their style or just whatever appeals to you
Or, alternatively, what kind of model would you like to see be made?

For me, I'd have to say the new Allarielle model is my favourite, or the new Morathi, both are just so good and are great centrepieces!
A very close 2nd is the Sisters of Avelorn (I guess now called Sisters of the Watch), though I think my total war bias is stepping in here hahaha

If they end up doing the old world stuff again, I would love a new line of avelorn models too.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think!

Being such a high elf fan, I have to go with the new Eltharion model. Super cool and some nice throwbacks to how he originally looked.
I’d have to also say the moo mountain as a close second.
Other models I really like are the Rockgut Trogs for the Goblins and the Bladeghiests for the Nigthaunt.

So many cool models to pick from!

I am just dipping into AoS and looking to go into Sons of Behemat when they launch. I am already stoked about the new mega gargants. They look like really awesome sculpts.

Maybe in the future we may get a special named gargant like King Brodd or something. Similar to how IK has Canis Rex

Oh yes! I picked up that Eltharion model cause I just really wanted to paint it too!

Ooh I never saw these! Those giant looking guys look great, would be scary to play against haha, but still fun

My favorite is the tiny gryph hound from silver tower, and I'd frankly like to see more tiny gryph hounds.

If they did an all Blood Dragon Vampire counts army with nothing but armoured vampires then I would start AoS.

As it stands, the new Cow Elves are by far the best models. Definitely nailed that Minoan/Greek borderline Slaanesh thing.

Square Bases for Life!
AoS is pure garbage
Kill Primaris, Kill the Primarchs. They don't belong in 40K

Whole new vampire models would be nice! Sounds like they would be pretty strong

My favorite model(s) for Age of Sigmar are the Treelord and the Akhelian King models.

While I love all of my old wood-elf era tree models (treemen, tree kin, dryads, etc.) I really like the newer "nature at war" aesthetic that they use for treelords, kurnoth hunters, etc.

In the same vein, the fish sculpts for the Idoneth are what drew me to that army. And I think the most dynamic of them is the deepmare that the king rides.

Beautiful models, a joy to paint, and fun on the board. I'll always play them, regardless of it they are "powerful".

I love the Megaboss on Maw Krusha, it has such a distinct and undeniable presence on the table and its thick, chonky weight absolutely matches that with the theme of the Ironjawz. The gaming group at my area affectionately calls it the "Angry Cabbage" and its super fun to paint too. Nothing says badass than a model that fluffwise says can fly because gravity is too scared to tell it otherwise.

The angry cabbage is beautiful.

I'm going to keep talking about silver tower things i guess, but i wish they had done more with the grot scuttlings from there. Eight limbed spider goblins are a fun idea with a lot of potential!

I've always been fond of the Ogres/Ogors ever since their redesign in 2005. Reinventing Ogres as Mongol hordes descending from the steppes turned a bland fantasy concept into something unique, and the sculpts had a ton of character.

The original sculpts are showing their age, but the new Tyrant is a fantastic modern take on their aesthetic, so I'm going to have to go with that.

Oh you know I actually kinda like the ogres too, I know I wouldn't do an army of them, but they are a really cool concept! Like, a big angry presence, kinda similar to orks

I really liked the metal Phoenix Guard; they were beautiful and clean and elegant, and I found the plastic ones really disappointing.

The Original Korhil model by Gary Morley when he held the axe double handed was excellent and was my favourite model for years.

Now it’s Nagash. I love it! Big, imposing and literally epitomises the undead range.

Although the new Mega- Gargants look superb

I've really enjoyed almost the entirety of the Underworlds line. Always beautiful models, with great sculpted bases. Though I think Underworlds is a fantastic game (best in the GW lineup imo), I wish the warbands were somewhat feasible in AoS too for a more crossover appeal.

That's a tough question. There's a lot of Age of Sigmar models I really like. Off the top of my head I would say the Chaos Lord of Karkadrak is probably my favorite. It combines the classic, updated look of Chaos Warriors along with a brutish mount worthy of mighty mortal follower of Chaos. I would probably have to really go through all the models thoroughly to help determine if that Chaos Lord is indeed my most favorite. I suspect that my favorite would keep changing over and over as poured through images of them.

Some off hand that I like are the current Archaon, the Lumineth Stone Mage, the Light of Eltharion, the Terrorgiest, Maw Crusha, Retributors/Protectors/Decimators, and the Black Coach.

Funny you say that about the Karkadrak, I bought the start collecting box for that model alone. I don't need any more Slaves but saw the model and said sure I will do a box of them for that model. Now I've got a pile of shame more than 15 models because of that box. It was just 10 chosen and 3 warriors.... Though that purchase spurred a couple of other purchases...

My favorite AOS models though are the Zechorias model (VLOZD from 2005ish?) and the Slaughter Master (aka Skragg).

What I'd like to see?

Elvish/Dark Elvish buildings. I LOVE that tall fluted spire tower they always showed in the pages of WD & the 5th/6th? edition DE (i think it was DE) army book years ago.
I'd pay for that model.
