Source Article

The Ordo Malleus is dedicated to hunting and exterminating daemons wherever they appear, and Erasmus Cartavolnus has been doing it for over 300 years. Despite his advanced age, this zealous Inquisitor still strides the battlefield in search of daemonic quarry, and his knowledge of binding rituals is second to none.

Sculpted plunging his personal force sword into a book of cursed scripture, you can see from the ghostly face in the flames that more than just words made their home between the pages.

It takes a wily creature to command the respect of a Kruleboyz Gutrippa mob, and Haggok is always on the lookout for his latest would-be usurper to pre-emptively run through.
With a (mostly) tame vulture keeping its beady eyes open for incoming threats, Haggok has time to relax a little and survey the battlefield, leaning casually on his skareshield. He fits in perfectly with your existing Gutrippa warbands, and as a unit leader, he has a more refined air than your average Kruleboy can muster.

I really like that Inquisitor model.

Nice. Local store’s Anniversary is pencilled in for 26th Feb. Time to dust off the looting boots.

Wow, they both look super cool! I think that solves two rumor engine pics as well.

Dublin stores anniversary is next Monday (10th) must have moved with the rebrand as it used to be October - glad I checked the list or I’d have missed that Kruleboy boss

Interesting that they use a store exclusive model on the back of one of the upcoming campaign books. :/

I'm not sold on the inquisitor's head, but more plastic inquisitors are never bad.

I'm also not the biggest kruelboyz fan, but I actually like this dude's face a lot. And his bird.

Possibly. They were the Advent Engine last year, not Rumor Engine.

The kruleboyz vulture was also a rumor engine.

Might not have been planned as a store exclusive initially. Or there might be a variant model to come.

Those are some unfortunately cool models for not being generally available.

Inquisitor is so close to being a great mini, but whoever designed it has no idea how to sculpt cloth. You shouldn't be able to tell the material of a mini just by looking at a painted version of it, but nothing screams "plastic!" more than that hood.

The flames coming out of the book are on the silly side, and he screams "Ordo Xenos" more than he does Malleus, but that's still very cool.

Maybe they shouldn't have painted it like daemon salad.

GW gonna GW?

I like the model. I'd get him if he was a regular release. Jumping through hoops, I don't think I can be bothered. I don't think I want to, honestly.

Inquisitor has no stomach, he's just legs attached to the chest. Still looks pretty good though.

Very glad to see more special edition miniatures that aren't the usual Primaris Marine. That inquisitor looks pretty good, I think the only thing i really dislike is the over-sized symbol on his backpack.

Possibly. Or he's where I love Lucy Fred 1950's pants very high right at the rib cage. Personally, I can't stop looking at the billboard sized =I= and the strangely flowing in every direction toilet paper rolls worth of purity seals on the backpack.

The Inquisitor's pose is super awkward - casually stabbing a cursed tome, which is on the ground for some reason, while looking off into the distant sunset

The sword is what is making it odd for me. The writing is the wrong way around- surely if you're primarily using that as a weapon, rather than stabbing it into the ground you want people to read what is says on your sword? The moment he starts slashing, hacking and doing casual He-Man poses with it it becomes illegible.

Are these anniversary sales for the store on the one day only? Or do they last a week? Great stuff if you work and it's a weekday. :-(

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

While the pose is strange... the way things are blowing around is killing it for me. The papers from the purity seals are blowing back like wings, but the flame from the tome blows forwards and opposite from the way the front of the cloak is blowing?

As per article: They will both be available on the weekend of your store’s anniversary, and for the next seven days afterwards,

I assume the intention is for the Inquisitor to avert his eyes in the moment he stabs the book, either because he's afraid it will blow up in his face or because Emperor-fearing eyes have no business looking at daemon cabbage.

It's probably the former as the purity seals are blown away from it.

Daemonic spirit (not flame) escapes the book away from the guy that just stabbed it.
