They’re also gonna be on sale at WHW during its 25th Anniversary in early March.

The inquisitor is an update of the old Inquisitor with Combi-weapon model (which I always thought was Ordo Xenos).

I like that the kruleboy is in kind of a mocking pose of the Stormcast Annihilator from the Dominion box.

Love the Inquisitor, it's just a shame I need to wait until late October to be able to get one.

At least you are able to get one. Many of us don't have access to Warhammer store at all.

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

The Inquisitor looks great, and importantly stands out compared to the other Inquisitor models that we've seen so far. The Kruleboy doesn't look bad and is pretty visually distinct, it just kinda sucks gutrippas aren't that great and I'm more of an Ironjawz fan.

It was released with Codex Daemonhunters so that seems like an odd supposition.

Its also what Warhammer+ should provide an avenue for - access to this kind of loot for subscribers!

Interesting, I see no issue with it all.
He could be staring down a daemonic identity and just impaling the book out of sight as if to say "see, your puny powers are nothing to me, i can destroy them without effort". Or something along those lines.

My local store's anniversary isn't until the 2nd half of the year. I'd say my chances of remembering this is a thing by then is pretty damned low.

At first glance I liked the models, but the more I look at them the less I care. The skinny orc looks okay, but nothing terribly special or exciting about him. The Inquisitor looks like an okay model with a good paint job (since when did GW learn to paint leather properly?). His proportions look a bit weird to my eye, maybe it's just the pose.

I think this is also an issue with store anniversary models. If they put that inquisitor on sale in the web store this weekend I’d probably buy two. By the time my nearest store’s anniversary rolls round, I could well have lost interest.

Couldn't you say the same about basically any release that was shown off but only released after some time had passed?

It's harder to keep track of a time limited exclusive release than a normal upcoming release, since if you miss the initial window on a standard release, they will generally remain available afterwards.

Also a standard release will get advertised again closer to release date. In 3 quarters of a year's time I'll probably have forgotten these models exist and forgotten the date of the store's anniversary.

Of course you could add it to a calendar, but who uses calendars these days?

[Quickly checks Codex: Daemonhunters.] Oh yeah, you're right. In my defence, I wasn't playing then, so I didn't realise he was released for that codex. I only got back in to the game in 6th edition, where you could get the Ordo Hereticus dude with the inferno pistol, the two Ordo Malleus dudes (one with a power sword and the other with a book) and the guy with the combi-weapon. I just assumed he was Ordo Xenos.

That means there have only been three Ordo Xenos inquisitors, right? Eisenhorn, Kyria Draxus, and Solomon Lok (from Forge World).

And other things Anniversary related.

Whilst I don’t know for sure, I suspect these are spend related rewards.

Dice look nice. Same bag as last year (which is pretty sweet. Ideal for safely carting my iPad about) but with swappable faction patches.

The pins are cute. And i've still got a set of those metal dice from the first time they did it years ago. I wonder if they'll do the competition for a set of solid silver ones again?

Those pins look pretty good, better than the lenticular print last time for sure, assuming those are for the rewards. Would like those Dice too but i know i won't come anywhere near spending the amount to get them.

When is "the weekend" of an anniversary if it's on a Monday or Tuesday? The one before, so that the 7 days includes the anniversary or the weekend afterwards?
