GW just uploaded this to YouTube, figure it worth sharing.
And the lyrics. In High Gothic.
Warhammer Community wrote:One of the most fascinating parts of this whole project has been the chance to codify High Gothic properly. It has appeared in various places ( purity seals, the sides of tanks, quotes in our books and so on), but for the first time there’s a coherent chunk of this unique language.
The Warhammer Studio have painstakingly crafted this language, and rumour has it that deep in the Warhammer HQ datavaults there is a whole bunch more. Maybe one day we’ll get to see a version of the hymn translated into our primitive 21st Century languages?
Now, if this isn’t all come about as part of the Amazon deal? Then I’m an ethnicity my actual ethnicity doesn’t suggest at face value.

That comment shot the image of typical grimdark Space Marines, or Tyranids, or Orks/Grots —in all their detailed and 3D rendered glory—doing a bunch of anime opening tropes (grasping for sun, jumping into an empty blue void,…) right through my brain. Maybe somebody on https://www.reddit.com/r/Grimdank/ has already done it?
Eh. I guess it's okay if you're into that kind of music. Sure doesn't surprise me that people join Chaos if that's what's played in the Imperium all day long.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?
So- I took Latin in High School and while rusty, I do remember that "K" in Latin is rare. My teacher said the only typical word with K is "Kalends" (Calendar) and that's because it's a Greek origin word. So- yeah, weird for me to see words with K when Latin/ High Gothic doesn't usually have have a "ck" sound unless it's a Greek loan-word.
Well, language-snobbery notwithstanding, it's cool to see GW branching out. Maybe soon they'll have a subscription service worth watching.. (Note: Looked up online Latin Dictionary and yes, K is sparse, but saw katafractarii there.. "Armored soldiers".. huh.)
"Cold is the Emperor's way of telling us to burn more heretics."
Agreed - they've responded to comments on instagram to say it definitely isn't AI, but it certainly looks like it's been put through some kind of AI filter, even if the animation underneath is original.
It's quite a fun project but the music doesn't feel right - composed like the soundtrack to a movie rather than the backing to choral singing.

One of my favorite bits of flavor text (from a page showing assorted weapons, but I forget where) is “The heavy bolter sings praises to the Emperor in a voice that never tires”
Worship and battle are one and the same for large chunks of the imperium.
Hideous sound quality, and a pastiche feeling thing, whoever thought it would be "cool" to combine synth pads/strings with classical choir?
No sir, I don't like it
