It is pretty easy to kitbash the larger figures, but my manual dexterity is not up to cutting apart an 8mm Space Marine.

While I dislike the term over a good old fashioned conversion, yes. My plog is full of it

Adding stowage to my tanks, building non-listed units like field artillery from leftovers, adding individual scythes manually for my Deathshrouds and so on are all great fun at Epic scale as well.

Isn't litbashing what happens on forums all the time?

Impressive work RazorEdge! There are a few bits I have attempted, although most are terrain related and I must admin most of the time something like a weapon swap would be beyond me.

Following a recent mission several members of the new World Eater Berserker units have failed to report to muster. Members of the Expedition 'Consul Opsequiari' (Field Police)' are dispatched to locate them.

Certainly, said artillery pieces for example are made from extra Russ barrels and remodeled Rapier carriages with the silly driver seats removed.

Redesigned the Praetor. I'm surprised how good he looks.

Was planned as a Hommage to the Old Chaoslord with Powerfist and as a Praetor of the Word Bearers, he surprisly looks Perfect, preaching the Words of Lorgar.

I had some auto-cannons left over from a Porphyrion and so I whipped up an Icarus carapace weapon for a Questoris.

Most of my 3d printable designs were done with kitbashing in mind. Same goes for most of my design work for Vanguard Miniatures.

I convert 6mm & legions models all the time. I often used to play 6mm scale inquisitor/necromunda inspired games. So I'd spend ages on single models.

Some examples are like my space skaven, which are currently under a massive reconstruction project (I have several thousand models to rebuild after deciding to replace a lot of older Epic 6mm models with the newer legions tanks and knights):

Before LI came out, we needed some chaos knights for the end of a Inq6 campaign, so used a mix of 40k and vanguard stuff to distinguish it between the AT knights:

28Mag Vol 3 has a lot of photos of some more of my older 6mm scale Epic conversions and kit bashes, some of my favourites are in there. There's a Skaven warlock I made from a 6mm fantasy rat sculpt, an inquisitor I sculpted from a not-Han solo sculpt, The tzeentch sorcerer on screamer was just a kit bash of two Epic models, but came out really well. The Ork madboy with a pegleg, I love that one. Such a simple and silly sculpt anyway, and the oversized leg makes him goofier.

I've just picked up a whole bunch of "Spare" LI marines for conversion purposes.
