I must admit I think it's by far the weakest of the Red Gobbos so far. Someone made an interesting tin man and glued on a Red Gobbo head and arm from the Bits box... Looks like a really bad conversion job.

I wish they would make a different character every year instead of running back Da Red Gobbo over and over. I bought the first 3, but I didn’t even finish painting the third one and have lost all enthusiasm to “collect them all.”

I like it quite a lot, it's a very interesting idea and l'll be getting one.
But i do think the Red Gobbo part lets it down, because of the positioning. The way both the robot's head and the Red Gobbo are facing really affects the perspective of it and makes it come across as if that's the front, it isn't immediately apparently he's actually coming out a hatch at the front and we're seeing the side. It's more like he's just phasing through it.
Think it would have been far better with him either seperate on the base, or coming out the hat even.

I kinda dig it, but Da Red Gobbo looks like he's about to be accidentally decapitated.  I suspect he'd be pretty easy to remove, thankfully.

I really like it. A Nutcracker tin boy with DRG on its shoulder. It’s supposed to be ungainly and overly stiff, it’s perfect. I especially love the wacky face on the thing. Looks like great fun.

I was so confused with those photo angles, it’s definitely not there best miniature I think. But definitely trying something new.
I also didn’t even register the head on it until I read a comment about it.
I don’t like it.

It's an awkward-looking model, for sure. Very likely it looks much better in real life. I have bought a couple of previous Red Gobbos, and converted them into non-Christmassy models. They make great additions to Grot mobs. I'm not sure what I'd do with this one, however. I do agree that we need Tinboyz back in the Ork list.

But why would you think there aren't rules for the Gobbo?
And each year they release a card specifically for that seasons model. Though those extra sheets don't always stick around.
