Think it's from terrain tutor originally. You use a flat head screw driver to push the connectors in and pop them out. Best thing I've found for getting the plugs in.
I recommend everyone check out this vid he did for battlezones
Hulksmash for the corner pieces did you cut the middle rivet off of the tiles that worked for me.
The fortified bits are massively frustrating, even with that thou I need 6 reinforced windows to make my second tower
I can manage even the fortified corners okay, although they're not perfect. It's the full-sized panel reinforcements that are ticking me off as they won't sit flush on anything but flat floor pieces. I'll just glue them to plasticard instead and double the coverage I get from each Fortified set.
The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
Huh. I only had the one fortification set but I've used all of it's bits and it didn't seem too bad...
The corner pieces, you've gotta stick one side in and then kind of wrap/fold/rotate the corner armor support thing until it clicks to the other side. If a piece won't work, try another, I had to do that a few times but I eventually found buildings the various pieces would go to. Not had trouble with the straights panel-wide up-armor bits either but I did use four of them inside my dice towers and that was all glue-based.
Guess I got lucky.
Looking forward to digging through my ruins sprues, glad I got some at GenCon now since we've got that second wave delay... Any problems people have been having with those?
Is anyone receiving two boxes in the second wave? I'm missing over 50% of my order, dice, zombies, faction boosters, you name it. I did get the ruins, AI deck, and Asterians though.
I imagine mine will be in multiple boxes and I've seen pics of other folks getting multiples.

Good to know, thanks for the reply. From other companies I typically see a '1 of 2' or something on the box or invoice so I know to expect another. Then again, this is Mantic so I shouldn't expect a detailed shipping record
Yep. Most 2nd wave is delayed for FF. :( or the signed compendiums, I think as well.

That might explain it, the only thing I'm not getting are the starter boosters for both the asterians and forgefathers. I qualified for the compendium, and also bought the collectors hard cover book. along with some other stuff.
Hard cover book couldn't go out until Ronnie got back to base (yesterday?). There were a couple of QC issues with the hard plastic forge father pieces so they paused to have them fix the issues. Until they get those sprues in they won't be shipping anything with the hard plastic forge fathers in it.

I received 2 smallish boxes. They arrived within 3 days of each other. The second box that arrived helpfully had '2 of 2' written on the side, and contained the packing slip for the whole order. This was of course after I had submitted a missing items form to Mantic as the first box that arrived was unmarked with no pack list.
For the work/link restricted, the contents of the email:
We’ve taken the decision to ship the remainder of all orders.
The mold problem with the Forge Fathers Forge Guard has not been solved quite yet by our toolmaker so we’ve pushed the frame back and added them to the third shipment in October so we can work on them some more and get the quality bang on. It also means we're not holding up any shipments.
Orders started being packed yesterday and, as we reach the tail-end of shipping the Asterians and the compendiums out, we’ll begin dispatching as originally planned.
The Forge Guard sprue, Enforcer Troop sprue and Enforcers in Peacekeeper Armour will ship in a third shipment in October.
Thank you for your patience and your understanding whilst we’ve dealt with this issue, we look forward to getting you your models as quickly as possible!

Here’s a snippet from the Enforcer Field Manual:
Playing to Win
Enforcers win games not necessarily by wiping out your opponent – although that certainly helps! – but by controlling the battlefield and focusing on their mission goals. If your mission card calls for you to secure an objective, make it a priority to find out which ones you need. Again, you don’t need to camp them for the whole game, and not doing so may lead your opponent into thinking your mission goals lie elsewhere. If your mission calls for you to make some kills, focus fire on one model at time using interlocking fields of fire, prioritizing enemy melee specialists first – you only want to engage in hand-to-hand fighting on your terms, not on your opponent’s.
To control the battlefield, use the impressive amount of suppressive fire Enforcers have available to them to keep key enemy models pinned or suppressed. While it can be frustrating to have an epic Blaze Away roll negated by a Steadfast card, your opponent can only hold so many of them – Marauders only have 6 Steadfast cards in their battle card deck, followed by the Plague at 8 and the Rebs at 10, and it’s unlikely that all of those cards will end up in the 25 used during the game. A model pinned is a model not advancing your enemy’s agenda or taking shots at you – after all, they can’t kill you if they’re hugging the dirt.
The Strategy Guides are due for digital release in September.

And finally… Our newest Kickstarter project – Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf King’s Quest – ends Sunday 31st August at 11:59pm BST.
It is currently our second-most supported Kickstarter we’ve run and, if you want to join us once again for that addictive last weekend rush, or simply to pick up tonnes of cool fantasy miniatures and a neat, straight out of the box fantasy board game, Dungeon Saga is the place to be this weekend.
Not great news but not terrible either, hopefully the kits will be spot on once we get them.
ive asked in the comments as well if they'll consider reopening the pledge manager for 3rd wave items so that we can add more since they've been delayed.
That's fine, would much rather have sweet space dwarves in a few months than mismolded space lumps right now. Unless it was a cereal. Mismolded Space Lumps chocolately marshmallowy oat cereal

Given that they're not happy with them still, I'm very happy Mantic is still delaying them, to ship at their own cost with the unexpected wave 3. If they keep this focus on quality up they'll keep getting my KS dollars I think - so long as eventually they do get the quality ; p Also happy that Wave 2 with substantial goodies will be on its way soon! Wonder how much restic is going to be in it... cleaning 3 strike forces and 1 BOGOF of each faction was time consuming and bloody. The up-side however was my thumbs are so caloused they're being investigated by materials scientists for use in body armour.

Wales: Where the Men are Men and the sheep are Scared.
Mantic delaying something that isn't right is far better than how they have handled things in the past.
Apparently my shipment of asterians has arrived at my mothers haven't checked it's complete yet though. Moved around a lot latley so didn't want to order it to an address I may not be at, would rather wait for it than risk not getting it.
I did half expect them to do exactly what they've chosen to do in adding the FFs to the Enforcers and just ship the rest - because "5-6 days to fix a major problem" was just crazytalk at best, and it's a fairly obvious solution.
Weren't they supposed to be finished shipping the Asterian stuff about 3 weeks ago now, though?
Will Mantic ever learn to not launch a new campaign at exactly the same time they're shipping a previous campaign?
That's crazy talk ; p Though it's probably mostly separate staff? I recall them saying they got everyone in to ship Deadzone wave 1 because it was a huge amount of stuff, but that shouldn't be standard procedure I imagine.
