So lately I haven't had much interest in "the paint" but thru some quite bizarre events , like I found a pair of glasses at work that no one claimed that allow me to actually see !!!! Etc , so I thought I might do a bit to Little H's vermin lord that has been sitting about unfinished for 12 months , still has some tidying up to do, and I'm finding it a real bitch to paint but would be grateful for comments and critiques as I now can see what I'm doing !!!!

Those horses look great, nurgle roughriders.

Man, the horns on the vermin lord look exquisite! skin looks good and spot colour is great, i'd probably just work the red accents up to a light brown and wash back with red again :-)

Have to agree with Nerdy here. Those horns are fantastic. Great blending.

Nerdy , you know full well I can't paint red ! Thanks Azazelx! It's a complicated process but I'll break it down. First and most importantly take a bottle of red wine, drink it, then take a £30 Chinese copy of a quality airbrush, that in itself is pretty descent , and spray random colours all over !!!

I did some more last night and I'm calling it done , all the arms are magnetised so Little H can pretty much make all the options.
Ladies and gentlemen I give you the giant rat thing , hope you like.

Thanks Gits ! there is an element of the photo making the shading look better in my opinion, but it's not too bad in real life either !!

Take whatever you can get! Most of what the camera does for you is bad (showing every little flaw)... if it does something good for you for a change... roll with it!

Thanks Noodles, I didn't enjoy painting it at first but as it came together I got quite enthusiastic and finishished it at 2a.m. or some thing

Also WIP, which may be pretty pointless as GW seem to be bringing out some new nurgle marines, but here's a "true scale" effort.

Lol it's an evil they are taught to push the most extreme models on unsuspecting children! although I believe you have pushed the demon back into the warp with that paintjob! it's looking great, are you planing on adding any more to the canopies? or just leave them with the ghost diamonds?

thanks Nerdy! I will be calling them ghost diamonds from now on, cool name !
Luckily a good set of decals come with the kit so I don't have to do some freehand monstrosity, I might do the lumps on the bonnet thing as blue gems if Little H wants and some edge highlights maybe, otherwise done !
