yup, coming up with ideas right after you've gone past the point you can do them
chips wouldn't be too difficult, just a few craters with a craft knife or hobby drill, wiggle it around a bit, presto!
...but I wouldn't want to force your hand, so to speak ^^
Foam backing from one of the blister packs and metal paint. Dip the corner in it a tiny bit then dab it on the surface you want the chips. Be sure to practice on something first though as it can take a while to get used to it. Easiest and quickest way to do it.

Ah yes, forgot that technique. Never used it myself, I don't have many (deliberate) chips on my models so I haven't had a chance to try it.

naaaawwww....... LDD has nothing to do with that one...
yesterday was father´s day in germany... so we have the thursday as a holiday...then what we call here as a bridge/gap day the friday and then the weekend all free of work... so the family is at home for four days... yes...^^ and this takes it´s toll... yesterday i took a way early night... today we went climbing in a "local" climbing garden...that was what its called... well basically we climbed on ropes and stuff... my six year old son felix and me secured with ropes and so like real mountaineers....it was really fun...and i didn´t got any vertigo even as i am not really fond of heights... i guess if i have everything under my controll i am ok with that...
also i did some hobby work...modeled a new captain...or if i get away with it as a commissar...it is an old RT captain... pics of everything i give you tomorrow...
and i have absolutly noooo idea what you guys are talking about with that TV show...
and not_u... will take that tip to heart... must be seen if that could be used on those robots tho...

LOL.... well i try to point out to my beloved wife that this outsyde is dangerous.... you can get run over by wheelchairs and get hit by those awfully cheerful singing birds... it is most vexing.... but wife and the kids get restless when caged up for too long... so they need to get an airing from time to time...
and dave... yes... the last couple weeks...namly the last two weeks particular we had four extra free days... i know you americans must think: WTFH... well... but we make top dollars still here in germany while being totally lazy^^
