Anyone not going to Legends want to meet at Heavy Support for a game this Sunday? I'm free any time.

Thanks for the offer DEE, but with St. Patties Day Saturday night I am thinking Sunday is going to be a write off as far as going anywhere or doing anything is concerned. Maybe next Sunday though.

Hmmm, I suppose checking out Legends could be fun since I haven't been there. I sure ain't too proud to turn down an offer for a ride. I live by Islington station (hence why I like Heavy Support), I don't mind going to any subway station at all if that makes it easier for you to pick me up, just tell me where you want to meet.

Yeah 2 great games today, win and a loss, though i feel if we hadn't of run out of time I might of been able to pull out a tie . Gotta say 16 genestealers with broodlord and 1 hive tyrant with 2 bodyguards vs 80 orc boys with nobs and big mek was just about the most epic fight i've ever seen, nothing like 2 "horde" armies coming together for a bloodbath to make your weekend complete.


And man Walking Dead finale was crazy eh, can't believe I have to wait till the fall again for more.....

I had a great game against Kungfujew as well (great name by the way). Ended in a tie . Funny how this weekend, we had a horde vs horde (Tyranids and Orks) and Shooty vs Shooty (Necrons and Guard). I also loved the absence of Space Marines when it was just the 5 of us.

Did anyone besides DEE, notice my sudden disappearance? I can still phase out .

Oh yeah... We forgot about Optimus... Optimus meet Incubi and Dark Lances... We may still find space marine bones years from now in the wych tarpit. Lol

I went out for a smoke and when I came back in to farm you for more intel about your necrons, you had just vanished. I figured you'd at least brag about pulling off a tie by blasting my commander with the last shot of the game.

By the way, he's fine. Turns out he was just winded from cutting down all those necrons before and after they fled. The blast knocked him off his feet and when he got up he saw two lone necron skimmers retreating screams of fear echoing in the wind.

I should be availiable for next saterday at legends again for more action.

I wouldn't mind trying out More Dakka's or Rhythem's orks/bugs at 2000, but I wound't be so foolish as to "call them out". That just tempts the dice gods into handing you an embarassing loss. . I want to see how my all commers fares agaisnt melee hordes.

Calling me out, eh? Well, it's really not necessary... you know where I am and when I am there... I never run or hide from a battle call. I certainly don't get behind in a game and then have to 'suddenly leave' in order to call the game a 'technically' unfinished battle... I am glad to see that my army has cause for reworking your army list to specifically defend against my dark matter and melee combatants. I will simply show up with the same list I always use... I make no changes for Blood Angels. I play them as they come... bring tanks or razorbacks or whatever... bring a dinky Librarian and I will teach him my own Dewy Decimal System of pain! Priests are nice... targets!

Yeah I could be swayed to bring 2K of Orks, but we will have to start right at 11:00, even though I've got my movement nice and fast thanks to my multi-bases I still have to roll 70+ dice most of the time

Just let me know cause if I don't have to pack another 30 boyz and 10 vehicles I won't

Hmmm, never been called out before, at this point I can't stretch my nids to 2000 pts yet, though i'm getting pretty close, so it would need to be dakka's orcs, unless your willing to go lower .

I'm definitely up for it! I just found out about the existence of this store, and it is extremely convenient for me to access. I'm going to check it out this weekend at some point, but assuming it's not abysmal, I'll be there for the tournament.

I like Adepticon rules; they let me field my (less than effective, but extremely fun) S5 AP3 large-blast death-from-above Spore Sacks.

RE the IA models, do you know if we'd need the actual FW model or can we convert etc so long as we pay the points for them?
