This is often the case, even when the Pound was a bit more costly vs. the US dollar. When it is not, some UK prices are much cheaper. Do not forget that you do not pay the UK VAT either, so it is an extra 17.5% discount. Final cost should be something like $149 dollars, and if they still do free shipping for advanced orders then you will really do well.

yeah,
I was thinking about this terrain last night.
I think it will be more attractive if you can buy extra tiles individually.
especially if they make extra variation tiles later?

Its a good idea, and I could use one (Considering I play on a cardboard box stretched over a table) but I suck at painting and don't have the time to paint half my army let alone a table.

Would be nice for them to come out with a table/Terrain that wouldn't have me spending hours working on just so it can look like crap...

I went by my local GW tonight to chat with another painter.

I had pre-ordered one of these, when the stated price was $175. Last weekend, the manager at the shop mentioned that they'd messed up the price point and that it would actually be $200. Ok, I'm a little disappointed, but still...

Tonight, he says they repriced it again, this time, $275.

WTF

I canceled my preorder. $175 was a bit much for something that, really, I can do with some foam. $200 is even worse. $275, I don't see how they're going to sell them at all. And the manager at the shop agreed with me. He had just started the unenviable task of calling everyone that had preordered the table at $175 to tell them about the change.

Just cancelled my preorder.

$200 was too expensive, but this.... There is no way in hell I can abide that. None.

What's GW's employee discount? Could I get a job in a GW store long enough to buy one, then quit right after?

Would it be safe to say that you support this price increase John, and find it a fair and appropriate reaction to market forces?
