My oldest brother has one. He has a Chaplin on bike that just never EVER died. Its one of his oldest minis, and has used it since 3rd edition rules set. Ive seen it survive cannon shots, devastator squads a maxed out DP. Even when the whole bike squad hies, he is that last one alive, and never seems to go down.

My Khorne Lord on Bike with Bloodfeeder has a bad habit of tearing my enemies a new ass. Shown when he detroyed a landriader with a melta bomb, and the next turn the whole teminator squad w/ librarian were caught in his sweeping advance... i love him...
although only comes in at 175 points...

My apothacary has survived more CC then my captain and company champion togather. I dunno why, but he always stays alive, and kills stuff. My friend deep striked with a Caladus assasin, took out my whole command squad with his neural shredder, killed my captain in Assault, and died at the hands of the Apothacary. He also took out a Grey knight Grand master, and survived a Revenant titan taking all its shots at that squad. I cant describe it.

i have a grot named toby.

he once got shot by 3 battlecannons, 6 lascannons, 12 heavy bolters and 9 autocannons at once, and he survived only to charge forward and kill a 162 guardsmen, 65 sentinels, 7 leman russes and 5 commisars. That was back in the day when he was an infant. also he was born blind, deaf, with one arm and no legs.he's my hero.

My unnamed tank-killing battle suit, who in one game destroyed a Space Wolf Land raider (ds behind w/ 2d6 armour pen) then with his 3+ armour, 4+invul and Feel No Pain proceeded to take only 1 wound against 48 bolters, 2 autocannons, a devastator squad full of plasma cannons and a Wolf Lord dred in CC

My Falcon grav-tank. It came under fire from three venom cannons and was assaulted by a Carnifex in one turn and was somehow fine.

My Tau force has this one Broadside who for some odd reason always survives assaults. never wins them but the game always ends without him dead!!

My Nurgle's Rot Daemon Prince survived 2 turns of necron shooting. On one wound. Then he was charged by a squad of 10 necrons and wiped them out. Then he charged another squad, let off nurgles rot and killed 6 of the (wtf?) and took out the other 4 in combat. He then survived another turn of necron shooting and was again charged by another squad of necrons, and wiped them out, turning a defeat into a win!

My stormtrooper sargent has NEVER died. The squad that is with him and the transport it is in has yet to kill anything (exept themselves with a plasmagun, that happens alot) and he manages to do something epic every game.

First time, valk got shot down 1st turn deep in enemy territory, the squad piled out, two men died in the wrekage. An assault squad jumped them (no pun intended) and all but one trooper and the sarge died. Second turn, the remaning man dies, the sarge downs three blood angel ass marines with a single blow. 3rd turn, the marines continue to fail, and he kills the rest.

Second game, he manages to kill four terminators without dieing (without his squad)

Third, he survived a mob of brezerkers (but not the squad... See a pattern forming?) killed two of them, and than got rescued the next turn while he was still hacking them up.

The most recent game, he got his squad wiped out, charged a terminator squad (with spport) then went on to death or glory explode a land rader with a melta bomb, force the terminators to emergency disembark (big squad, LRC) and allowed my GK teminators and yarrick to get the charge off.

Four games, four reasons that he is now my favorite model.

In an old game of 3rd edition, I had a unit of Space Marine Scouts with sniper rifles. Now, back in 3rd ed, the Scout Sergeant couldn't take a sniper rifle, so he had a bolt pistol and close combat weapon. The Scouts were holding an objective in the middle of the field but taking heavy casualties. Everybody except the Sergeant died-- I figured the high leadership would help for All On Your Own-- and things were looking grim. I was able to deal with most of the enemy force, but a large unit of Chaos Terminators was approaching and about to assault onto the objective. I figured that I had to attack and at least stall them while I got more troops into position.

The Sergeant charged into combat, but only engaged one of the Terminators. Before the Traitor Marine could power up his fist, the Scout Sergeant took him out with some kind of super-lucky knife technique. As nobody else was in range, the assault ended, and the Terminators had to test morale. They failed morale, rolled a one for the initiative check, and got run down-- a lone Scout singlehandedly killed 7 enemy Terminators in hand-to-hand combat.

My friend has these scouts armed entirely with shotguns. In my first match against him, I ignored them as they raced across the board to meet my BA aussalt squad. (I was concentrating on the Devastators). When they got within range they fired on my guys, killing three, making the rest flee (with Jump packs they managed to make it off the board. *facepalm*). They then proceed to survive all sorts of fire from me, making thier way to my objective. They survived a charge from my second assualt squad losing two guys, and killing 3 more of mine. I lose and flee off the table. Again. Turn 5, I charge out from where my objective is into him, killing two more (only the serge is left) and losing one. He flees to the closest table edge, taking him right on top of my objective. He rallies, takes aa shot at my Assualt squad and kills one. They also flee off the table. The game ended that turn.

Objectives
Me = 0
Him = 1

That serge was Epic.

I think possibly the most ludicrous instance of WTFness, was at a tourny with a buddy, my bud in 2 games against the same guy(back in fourth, his opponent playing chaos with bloodletters and a thirster, while he played Marines) the first game somehow his emporers champion lived for 3 turns against 7 bloodletters, then the unthinkable happend next game. He had a regular marine, no special weapons, no nothing, survive 4 f'ing turns against a bloodthirster, I kid you not, stalled the thirster the whole game... and to top it off, at the end of the last turn, HE KILLED THE THIRSTER!!

...No way. (What's the toughness of a bloodthirster?!?)

BTW, a single DC of mine killed 3 orks, made a squad of 10 (with a mek inside) flee, and ran them down. Oh yeah... =)

I dont remember exactly what it used to be, all I know is he needed a 5to hit and then a 6 to wound him... and by krikee, he got it!

I have a Chaos Dready That has had everything but wrecked or explosion happen to him!

He once had been immobilzed and had his plasma cannon blown off.

And with a tled bolter killed a lord of change it was epic.

My defiler on the other hand has a Hydrogen bomb for a gastank so It ALWAYS die's.
I blame people flipping out on the poor thing, It really should have front armor 13.

One IG player I used to play regularly had an IG model with a Nid head (i think) on its base. Apparently he was a beast in CC. His squad took a Khornate Berzerker charge and held. That model didn't die. The counter charge killed my entire plan. So killing that model became a goal for me. In fact, it took me 3 games against him to kill that model, (resulting in a small celebration when i finally did).

As for luckiest for me, well, a squad of T_Sons had an Incubi-Mega squad fail a diff. terrain test for charging. The shoot and kill all but the Archon, Drazhar, and the Incubi Master. next turn, they are charged by said squad and a squad of jetbikes with a Dracite. He, in total, has like 4 models taking drugs. The next two turns he proceeds to kill the Master, Jetbike Succubus, and wound his lord twice(or lord and Dracite) with drug ODs. My guys just stood there laughing (which is probably why they generally failed to add anything to the total)

LOL, just goes to show DE kids that whatever they do...

even funnier, he NEVER rolled for more than two options. It was amazing. Even he was laughing by the end of it

I love my ork warboss. I gave him a TL Shoota (Because it's the AoBR warboss, that's what he's got so I decided to try it) He rarely misses, even if his entire nobs group misses, or the big shoota on the trukk he's in misses, his shoota is nearly always on target.


ON THE OTHER HAND. the nob in my boyz mob, never hits anything. "Ok I need fours to hit with my nob's klaw....is that two threes a two and a one? :cry: "

2 days ago I played against some 1000pts aside it went kind of like this
1 Ghazghkull Thraka, 44 Pulse Rifle Shots, 1 Wound

i had a eldar ranger who survived 6 rounds of whirlwinds (3 of them) continuous fire... he also took out a space marine captian in the same game... got me into the finals of the tourny i was in... winning me 3rd place... (he know has a green mark on his helmet)

one of my mates in his first game after the second turn had lost all 1000 points of space marines he had ecept for 1 space marine with a missile launcher... he some how survived 5 turns of sniper shots, 3 falcons continuous fire a avatar of khaine attempting to reach him but instead trying to melt him, 20 dire avengers peppering him... being doomed every turn... we called him neo...

ok so once upon a time I was playing orks, and my friend was the eldar. i had 8 unassuming boyz take out a full squad of avengers, a full squad of wraithguard, the warlock and two vypers before death. then a group of mega-nobz got screwed over by the avatar... except for brick****house.... He went on to kill the avatar, the seer counsel and a wraithlord.

Then I had a Carnifex that took on 60 boyz, got shot at by some 120 big shoota shots, a full squad of IG sniper shots, And a demolisher cannon, only to regenerate four wounds the next round.

I had a single Fire Warrior withstand 3 rounds of HTH with Vulcan and two SM. He killed the 2 SM and put a wound on Vulcan before the game finally ended.

My skull champion from my berserker squad is AWESOME. In an apoc games vs smurfs and goff orks, he owned despite his squad (-the attached Khorne Lord) being fried by orbital Bombardment.

yours too? Mine always seem to last to the end, when I send them off to go charge a superheavy tank or something. It doesn't work much, but its always funny

My Daemon Prince took out a Deathwing Terminator Squad in a SM/Eldar vs Chaos Apoc battle (which had Deep Striked the turn before, if I remember correctly). Unfortunately, he has a habit of being a very mixed bag.

Next turn he gets into CC with some Dire Avengers. He only kills ONE (I seriously rolled a bunch of 1's), only to be killed by a regular Dire Avenger (Prince had 2 Wounds, and lost both to the same squad, despite having a 3+ Save...).

As far as lucky models go...way back when Old One Eye used to be usable for 'Nids, he went into CC against a Dark Angels Chapter Master/Captain. Having awful Initiative, and being on 1 remaining Wound after heavy Lascannon fire, Old One Eye got put down by the Captain's CC attacks...only to stand back up...and get knocked down...and get back up (this went over a few Assault phases). The Dark Angels Captain never even let Old One Eye get a hit (as his Initiative was higher, and he rolled lucky every time), but Old One Eye got back up FOUR times before finally keeling over for good

My Thousand Sons in my CSM army always seem to survive anything thrown at them too.

Twisting it slightly, but my SM terminator librarian has NEVER survived past turn 3. He gets shot, blown up, stabbed, attacked by warp creatures and pushed over by grots. Repeatedly.

My luckiest models are:
Ork
The 3 runtherders in a mob of 30 gretchen, these three brothers took on a Tau Commander Battlesuit and won without taking wounds and then went toe to toe with Maguan Ra and won without taking a wound and they havent died once.

Eldar
My Bonesinger [Limited edition model, count as Farseer], hit a unit of 3 sentinels with eldrich storm and destroyed all of them. Killed a demon prince with only one mind war. Survived an assault from a full assault terminator unit and held them off for 3 turns until wraithlord and others could kill them. He is nigh unstoppable!!

My DE Archon.

One time he single-handedly fought two balls-out melee spec Hive Tyrants at the same time and killed them both.

Another time he killed a Bloodthirster after passing 8 inv saves against the Bloodthirster's attacks when one successful wound would have insta-killed him.

I have the same type of experience with mine, he's gotten quite a story going by now...
9 years ago in 3rd my brother bought a box of 'zerkers and lost the bent leg off of several (he was 12 at the time)
I took the one legged model I liked the most and bandaged up the stump. He then became stumpy, a standard 'zerker serving in the FOC.
Fast forward a couple of years and now the little guy has an unkillable reputation and is promoted to skull champion Stumpy. Remove the arms for a proper axe of khorne and give him a banner pole bearing his name. Stumpy becomes MORE unkillable.
Moving into 5th the life expectancy of stumpy is turn 5-6, and his survival is valued more than some objectives. Opponents divert forces to kill him once they bounce off his unit the first time. Several times Stumpy has been the sole survivor of a unit only to have another unit of zerkers run over to shield him.
After a really rough game where I won with maybe 10-12 models left on the board (stumpy being one of them). Stumpy has now been promoted to High Lord Stumpy, power armor demon weapon Lord. He still pisses off the enemy, even though he can now be targeted in combat.

I've changed the arms and upgraded his base, but it's the same 9 year old plastic kicking ass out there. If he makes it to 15 I'll retire him.
