I've seen them in person - they are wooden craft boxes -sort of mini treasure chests. Perfect for bunkers, and available in a couple sizes. Looking good with the tanks Rob!

They are little wooden hope / jewelry chests you can pick up at your local craft store. (Micheals, AC Moore, etc..)

Sand bags are just "Super Sculpty" clay, rolled out, squashed down, cut in to chicklet sided sandbags, then baked to harden them up.

I've recently completed my game board. Here are some pics....

The whole board (almost, have 8 total 2'x2' tiles)

These are for laying over the lava board...

I've got loads of hills and rocks, though right now working on a road network including intersections and bridges...

Love all this terrain, great inspiration!

I'm building a set of 3 Ultramarines themed objectives for my son's army (the other two are a wrecked & burning rhino and a downed hero/veteran).

the smoke isn't attached, I have plans to model some dead marines in and around the other side which is ripped open and has the smke stuffed in the opening in this shot...

Pandaman,

my piece is 2 feet by 2 feet. In the first photo, you can barely make out a Kasrkin sergeant on the top floor. I used GW walls in addition to foamboard because I wanted to stretch how much I got for my $$$. The pillars are wedding cake pillars that you can get at craft stores like Michael's or AC Moore. The base was wood which was a big mistake; it warped in my basement so now I use that dark brown stuff... forget what it is called.
