With all this talk about limes I can't help but think of last night at the bar. I got bored with the group conversation so I went up to the bar and got a few lime slices. When I got back I ate them like orange slices. Got through 3 of them before anybody noticed and all they asked was "are you even going to flinch?" I guess I just like limes a little too much. No bum for me though. I'll pass on the human rump roast.

I had a grilled penut butter and banana sandwich for lunch.

Full of calories, but sooooo good.

Protein shake and a lime flavored popsicle. I'm dieting and hate you all....

Dieting doesnt mean not eating good food :p It just usually takes some cooking to make the good stuff

I know, I do eat good meals, but I've been cutting out one full meal a day and replacing it with a shake and calorie free sweet of sorts. I had your "tyranid metabolism" but it abandoned me after college.

My metabolism isnt all tyranid anymore either- too much sugar and I start getting fluffy

they have 3 different kinds of steak, a mongolian grill, a full bbq, full salad bar, pasta kitchen, chinese buffet, etc..


I had a bunch of meat and the whole mongolian grill thing...for you guys across the pond, I am not sure if you have this over there, but it's a long table of raw veggies noodles and meat, you pick what you want and put it in a bowl, and they cook it for you right there with garlic, soy sauce, oil etc. Then I add angry amounts of Sriracha hot sauce....

oh, and turned $2 in to $50 on slots on the way out....

40$ buffet? If its not all you can eat sushi I say 30$ is the limit!!

Im thinking bacon and eggs. Scratch that- sausage(bacon wasnt on sale!)

And maybe some home made bread to make the house smell good and go with the left over roast beef....

todays breakfast of champions after i got off work was.....

left over marinated chicken diced up with onion (also diced), cooked in a splash of apple juice until chicken was hot and onions tender, mixture set on toast and topped with cheddar cheese......it was surprisingly tasty

It's really warm so I popped a Corona in the freezer for 15 Minutes.

Left over stir fried chicken/vegs that I made last night with a big glass of ginger ale.

Baked potatoes bacon and eggs. With lots of mayonnaise

And some crap brand non-diet cola, that tastes better then any diet/max/zero ever will. Why? Sugar you bastards.

@Mistress: They are baked beans, preferably Heinz but most places use something cheaper. It's not really a regional thing, almost everywhere in England that offers fried breakfasts will put beans on the plate.

I used to date a Scottish girl too; some of the things they eat in that country are crazy. battered mars bars for example

Battered mars bars are truly awesome, However as it is 24 degrees outside (centigrade that is) I have just finished a chicken salad, and I am currently washing it down with an ice cold cider. (Unfortunately I am a long way from my original home wher I would be drinking scrumpy)

Oh I had that last summer when I had my holiday in Cornwall Very good beer indeed. But I prefer Dutch and Belgian beer.

It is a good beer, and you have to love the adverts, however I will not post any here as they may offend some of the sites members. If you want a look just search Spitfire Ale in Google images and Soladrin I like good Belgian and German beers particularly Weissbeer, but first and foremost it has to be a good british ale

Try Palm some time That and Grimbergen Triple are my favorites.

I've not had palm but Grimbergen isnt bad, I also like Kreikbier, luckily my local off-licence has a good selection of foreign beers. Well good for around here anyway

Just had 2 BK rodeo burgers (beef patty, onion rings, cheese and bbq sauce; not bad for $1.16) and washing it down with cheap beer (Miller High Life).

Dinner will be: Tilapia, salad, rice, wine.

Brownies.

Warm brownies with vanilla ice cream on top.

Its like a yin/yang of chocolate and vanilla perfection

Hamburgers and Salad.
Sweat Iced Tea to drink....

Homemade slushee suckers.

I've been freezing Mountain Dew lately and making ice cubes for it, so I shredded those up with a homemade slushee maker thingamabobber and added some unfrozen Mountain Dew--voila!

We had pene pasta baked with roma tomatoes olive oil garlic, and fresh basil from our little herb garden on the patio, toasted garlic bread. We enjoyed our meal with a glass of red wine. Cool thread, thanks Mistress of minis from a fellow Arizonan.

Time for lunch!

Toast with vegemite should do just fine.

Mt. Dew Distortion and Yoplait Light Lemon Custard yogurt. LOL.
