Reaver Titan or a Thunderhawk, take your pick. Or the 2k I have of space marines sitting almost entirely in boxes with the FW dreads and land raiders I bought for them.

My most impulsive buy would be my second Revenant from FW.
My mates at the time had both secretly built Warhounds (2 of them - 1 each).
Whilst I knew of one of them, when I found out about the other I had to even the score as they used to team up against me in Apoc games.
The first still isn't finished and the second is still in the box - two years later!
I'm now looking to impulsively buy the Phantom. Even although I don't even play apoc anymore.

If we're not talking about GW / 40k, one of my best "impulse" buy was a full-pro 1/10 RC car. Hundreds of dollars spent after work, a long night building & painting, and I was up & racing the next morning. Fastest buy-build-play so far. :nods:

To the OP
I just did exactly this thing. A Tiger Shark? On ebay? at £56? I'm bidding.
Two days later, I now own a Tiger Shark AX-10, but it was £102 including postage. I mean, I saved £40, but i really don't need it!
Still, it'll be nice when it's all painted up and sitting in the middle of my Tau army, I suppose....

When I made a big FW order on Elysians close to christmas. FW lowered the free postage price from 250 pounds to 150 pounds and when Elysians came with Grav-chutes.
I payed around 167 pounds on that order and was so happy I did. Never regreted buying them. Never!

I was walking past a second hand bookshop back when I was still a university student. I had £75 in the world before I fully maxed out my entire credit limit. I was already interested in Japan and saw a book in the window on Japanese Woodblock Art. Yoshitoshi's 100 Aspects of the Moon. It also had a lot of history stuff in it. It cost £40, and is still one of my favourite possessions 10 years later. I guess when you pay so much for something then you really appreciate it.

It was so impulsive that I called back either the next day or that same night and cancelled my order >.<
I did something similar. I had phoned up to ask where my younger brother's Elysian heads were, and if they were going to be delivered anytime soon. They told me that they would be another month, as they were having trouble keeping them in stock. I asked idly if they were having trouble with stocking anything else, such as the Keeper of Secrets they did (one of my favourite models). They said they had several of those in stock and would I like to order one. Two minutes later, I was the proud owner of a FW KoS, however I didn't have time to cancel the order due to "OMG I spent almost a hundred pounds on a model" as it arrived on my doorstep the next morning. They weren't kidding about it being quicker to ship. I remember my brother being a little sore about that... It's still one of my favourite models in my army .
